South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

If Edie was in any way bothered by the way the man to her side examined the pajama pants that he'd been offered, she didn't show it. They weren't hers, after all, merely a relic of a one night stand. She'd needed something to wear home, after all, refusing to put on last night's clothes and do any sort of walk of shame â€" after all, none of her conquests caused her any kind of shame. Instead, she merely gave a tiny smirk at the way they fit the man. "You look great," She chirped, though her voice was full of the sarcasm that usually laced her tone. "The capri pant look is great on you." Instead, she intended to focus on his unwillingness to share in the recipe that he held in his hands. "I'm sure I can find out. I can be very... persuasive when I want to be." She offered him a wink, though it hardly afforded him any kind of mercy from the further onslaught of insults that flew out of her mouth.

The tug on her arm was shocking to her, though she had no time to form any sort of protest before his lips had been on hers. The hits that landed on him after were slightly less than whole-hearted, though they did pick up in intensity at the way his features contorted with amusement at her situation. "You're not," Edie burst out, her eyes narrowing at the chuckle he rewarded her with. "You're an ass. An awful... despicable... horrid..." Edie didn't bother finishing her sentence, instead letting her arm snake around his neck and drag herself back against him. He was infuriating, but the adrenaline from the fight caused the girl to push herself up against him. She'd deny it later, but a soft purr escaped her lips as his hand dropped to the small of her back. A part of her â€" the adrenaline part, she was sure â€" loved the way his body kept her firmly in place.

"Damn you," Edie muttered when he broke the kiss, leaning her body forward to rest her forehead against his chest as she caught her breath. It was the first time her words had been gentle towards him, the small girl hardly having it in her to yell at him after a kiss like that. After all, Edie had always been a sucker for a cute face, and Kato was proving to be no exception. "Show me what?" Edie asked as he pulled back, frowning as he took her hand. No, the idiot, didn't he understand what they were doing now? Still, the girl followed him as he pulled her from the tent and across the clearing. She looked up when he started speaking of the Hunters and their desire to chase rather than shoot. It made sense, though the thought of them had Edie looking over her shoulder at the fallen Hunters. Kato hadn't killed them. Though they were certainly injured, their bodies would heal and eventually, this would no longer be a safe spot.

She was about to vocalize those thoughts when Kato let go of her, gently pushing her off the path. "What are you..." She started, a frown working its way onto her features at the command to stay where she was. "Why do I have to stay here?" She asked, though he answered quickly as he threw the rock, tripping the wire and causing the log to sweep down. Edie winced immediately as it flew over Kato's head, sure that the log would hit him. She watched the pendulum log swing until it finally stopped, the girl stepping out from her spot to join him. "I still think you're a bloody idiot," She commented lightly, reaching out to touch the log, her hand only inches away from where his landed on the rope â€" his to grab if he so chose. "But the plan was impressive, I will give you that."

She glanced back over her shoulder towards the clearing. "They'll wake up soon," She commented, turning slightly back to look in the direction of the tent. "We can't stay here. Surely you're intelligent enough to know that." This time, it was her turn to grab ahold of his hand, pulling him back in the direction they'd come. "Help me carry my things back to my pack, and I can offer you a place to sleep." She flashed him a mischievous grin, her hand squeezing his. "As long as you don't mind sharing a bed with me."
