South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

There was a reason why she wasn't warm or open. It wasn't something she had received by others. She was used to the cold shoulders, the soft growls that warned her to stay away, and the harsh glares that simply made her blood chill. Perhaps being cold and silent gave her the chance to cope with the harsh treatments she received. Whatever pain she felt she attempted to hold it in, not wishing to give her pack the satisfaction they craved should they decide she needed some sort of punishment. Each time she felt a claw slash through her skin or a set of teeth rip into her flesh, she would hold the struggle to cry out. The more she tried to not show emotion, the angrier they got, and although the pain only got worse it wouldn't last so long. If she didn't give in and whimper or cry out, they would leave her alone...eventually. Then she could go back and lick over her wounds while she safely cried herself to a numb sleep. It was best for her if she kept everyone at a distance. As a Were, and human, a family or pack was supposed to be the place where you felt the safest. Those within the group were supposed to raise you up, together, but for her she didn't receive such a thing. If she couldn't receive that from them, then she could rightly assume that anyone else she came across would be incapable as well.

There were some right now that she was trying to figure out. The deranged spotted leopard she found it was getting much easier to be around him the more they were in each other's company. However, with Alexis, it came only naturally once she figured out that they had walked down a similar path in their past. Lucian was struggling to find what he could to get himself in her good graces, but his intrusion only caused her to want to pull away. Now that she was trying to figure out how to make these connections with others she was taking steady slow steps, ensuring not only that she was doing it correctly, but that she could lay the foundations to form some sort of trust with others. It was difficult but she was trying. The cat beside her, she was unfamiliar with, but seeing how he didn't look like a threat her heavily guarded exterior would slide only slightly. A grey ear twitched when she heard his inquiry, ignoring his second voiced gratitude, and she would suddenly come to a halt. Turning her neck around her massive dial would lower as blue-grey eyes caught his own eyes, her voice filled with brutal honesty.

"Didn't want another to be in pain and suffer."

Turning her head back around she would quietly continue to press on forward her scented and safe trail. She was not a creature that enjoyed to watch others suffer. Even though she was aloof there was still a tinge of some sort of kindness within her. As the two came out from the thick woods and into the clearing she would stop once more, her dial turning left and right observing the landscape, looking for anything out of place. Her grey tail swayed side to side as she briefly glanced at the cat unsure just what direction to take at this point. If this was to be a stroll they could cut through the clearing and wander around the other side of the woods, but if he was interested in food they could remain within the clearing and search for a bite to eat. Why she was willing to keep at his side just could not be said. Perhaps she was willing to be near a cat that wouldn't pounce on her every second they got. Or, it could simply be because Alexis stuck her neck out for him and she was willing to do the same.

"Did you come to stalk or did you come to hunt?"
