South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

The small insult that Dorian offers her regarding her supposed kingdom remained ignored by the fae girl, instead her focus going to getting things ready for the incoming pizza. Judging by every other interaction she'd had with her newfound friend, she hardly thought that pizza would be something that would be easy for the male to comprehend. The paper plates that she placed on the table were sure to be decidedly different from what the apparent prince would be used to. In fact, she was content to ignore the man entirely when it came to his mention of her supposed 'male lover' until he spoke again, this time inquiring as to what their relationship would benefit the other party. At that, Samantha paused, watching him with interest. No, it wasn't so difficult to understand his question. Many times, Samantha herself had wondered what it was that Aiden saw in her, why he had decided she was a person that was worth spending time with.

"That, I'm afraid, is a question that remains to be seen."

There was nothing that she could figure out that would answer his question, and the woman was content to merely offer up nothing in return. It was clear that the subject of their affection for each other would go over the man's head. There was nothing besides that to hold them together. She was aware of his superior status â€" while calling him a King may have been a reach, he did lead his people in his own right â€" and she was aware of the uneasy feeling she'd felt the first time she'd sat in the front seat of his car. Aiden was wealthy, and Samantha was anything but. And yet... And yet he looked at her as if she was the most interesting person in the world. When his eyes met hers, Samantha certainly felt as though she was the princess she said she was.

In retrospect, she should have hardly been surprised by the flailing way the man dealt with the appearance of the moth, though she was certainly surprised by the reckless way that he had deemed it appropriate to deal with the problem. The hole in the wall was certainly more than she could fix on her own, and the woman was sure that not a penny of her security deposit was going to be returned to her. "Dorian..." Her muttered use of his name was all that she got out as she went to yank the rapier out of the wall. She barely acknowledged his attempt at moving towards her, instead commanding him to take a seat while she fetched the pizza. If the delivery driver thought it was odd that the woman had a sword near her as she opened the door, he made no note of it, and for that Samantha was thankful.

The other fae's remark regarding the weapon was met with a raise of Samantha's brow, the timid woman merely staring at the male in awe at his comment. "First, you will not take it back or you will find yourself living on the street at the mercy of the bicycles and bandits." She opened the box for him, wasting no time in picking up the cheesiest of slices and helping herself to it. "And second, in my country, women can be anything they want. If I choose to have a sword, I will have a sword, and no male will tell me otherwise." She paused again, taking a bite of the pizza as she watched the man attempt to eat the pizza. His efforts were rewarded with a passing chuckle towards the man, before once again the woman spoke. "And third, you may take your weapon with you if and when you leave this room. While you are in this space, it stays in the closet. Understood?"

Having made her point, Samantha leaned back in her chair, content to enjoy the food that she had produced for them. That Dorian had yet to take a bite of the pizza was not something she had ignored, the girl mindful of his watching gaze. "Try it," She urged, pausing in her own food consumption to watch as he took his first bite of the food. A grin spread on Samantha's features at his... sort of approval, and she nodded. "Everyone likes pizza." He is awarded with another nod as he further questions her, the woman content to give him whatever answers she could. "It was invented in Naples, I believe. I think it's served a little differently there, though this is extremely good too."

The woman puts down her plate after her second slice, content to allow the male to consume as much of the food as he would like. After all, Samantha was no stranger to starvation, and she could tell by the way his eyes followed the food that it had been far too long since he'd last ate. Fae may be immortal in theory, but that didn't mean they didn't need to eat regularly. "Eat as much as you'd like. I'm full, I promise." She stood, moving to deposit her plate in the sink before she turned, hesitating just slightly at the question he asked of her.

"Well..." The girl was weary, knowing that the subject was likely to be a touchy one for the man who had seemed so baffled by the concept of a shower. "You may have noticed that I don't exactly have a bed. I sleep on the couch there. I set up the blanket bed for you there," The woman gestured to the pile of blankets she had set up, though now that she observed it, it seemed rather puny. She hated that it was all she had to offer him. Well, all but... She was about to keep her mouth shut when she took another look at the man. Now that he'd been fed, it was clear that his features were pointing towards exhaustion. How long had it been since he'd properly slept?

"Or you can sleep on the couch with me. It folds out to lay flat, and it's not as uncomfortable as it looks. I'll share it with you, but only for tonight."
