South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Everyone lies. Whether they mean to or not. One might think that physical scars are the most painful to hold and that is an incorrect assumption. The scars that hurt the most were the ones that couldn't be seen. These particular scars were carved into the mind and impaired the soul. Some scars could be healed, but others couldn't be fixed and were permanently left to stay forever. It was a shame, truly, and yet that was just how life was. Life wasn't meant to be easy, but not everyone deserved to have such a difficult life. For a girl that loathed trust and barely trusted others she seemed to be quite content to be pinned between a tree and the fetching looking vampire. She could feel herself press against him and recoiling at his very touch all at once. She couldn't understand, she couldn't piece together the reasons why this was all so very wrong. As he moved to press his thumb against her flawed cheek, inwardly she shuddered, not used to someone touching her face gently. However, with her frame pinned against a tree and with the small space between them, she could hardly move her head so that his gentle and loving touch could stop. As his thumb pressed against the scars there was a mixture of awe and fear in her storm-colored eyes. A flicker of a haunting memory appeared, the sight of those blazing orange-gold eyes glaring at her, and the feeling of claws ranking over her face, over and over again. The memory was fleeting and all she could see was the artic blue eyes and a warm smile, noticing he held no look of disgust on his handsome face.

As she listened to his sweet words her pale cheeks would suddenly glow a bright red. On a daily basis she didn't receive praise or compliments and hearing them now was absolutely appealing to the shy, broken woman. It was his mention of 'my little bird' that caused her mind to suddenly shift as those dark ebony eyes began to appear and the broken masculine voice echoed from somewhere in the back of her mind. My Birdie...mine. Birdie...yes that is my name, she thought as she looked away from Sebastian, noticing for a moment that something was off. Though her attention was placed back upon the vampire as his fingers gently turned her head upwards to his, feeling his lips press against her own. As his hand shifted from her jawline and to the back of her neck, she felt her head tilt back as he deepened the kiss, the girl was unable to fight it off, but rather she accepted it. Yet even this romantic gesture couldn't put a stop to the voice that continued to whisper her nickname. As the kiss deepened she felt his larger frame press against her, keeping her in place. As his forehead pressed against her own, she attempted to catch her breath, as her hazed mind struggled to remember why everything in this picture was absolutely wrong. Softly she answered his question, the curly-haired question still doubting him even if his gestures were endearing.

"No...I guess not, but...men only want one thing...and you want that. He wanted that too, but he wouldn't..."

No, he wouldn't, he wouldn't go further. They would try, they would, but she would only let him go so far. Vaguely she could recall how his calloused hands gently stroked her pale skin as they traveled up and down along her arm or side, how his handsome boyish grin appeared if she blushed or permitted him to continue doing whatever he desired. How his lips pressed harshly and yet passionately against her own lips, traveling down her neck and up, enjoying the feeling of his weight against her own. Over time she allowed him to go far beyond than before and even though she was fearful of continuing she felt slowly became more comfortable as they continued their exploration. As Sebastian seemed focused elsewhere Raven could recall the figure and image that belonged to the man with the changing eyes. As the vampire's control of her hormones seemed to stop, she could recall Tobias much easier, seeing his face, his golden-hued eyes looking at her, as she remembered his deep baritone voice whisper the three words she thought she would never hear from him, I Love You and this phrase would echo as Raven slowly started to come back to reality.
