West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya shook her head near violently in disbelief and anger at Tobias' words. She had told him to protect the twins but to get him to realize that it was beyond acceptable to take a child without alerting the mother wasn't within his capacity...which angered her in this moment. "Frost never once did anything to hurt the twins! He's done more for them than my own pack!" It was an exasperated admittance, one she never spoke aloud to Frost on how true his jabs were that her own pack scent was scarce to non-existent around the apartment. "How dare you say that!" Renewed anger boiled within her at Tobias accusing her of having sex with Frost.

If Nadya had been human, the sheer force of the leopard form colliding with her own and sending her to the ground would have surely given her whiplash. It was still a heavy fall that the weight of the feline atop her made her body threaten to crack though her own body's response kicked in. The adrenaline at being attacked and the fury of the fight caused her shift to rip through her, the bones that threatened to break from his weight now breaking and reforming swiftly until her own panther form was in its place. Her lips peeled back in a spitting hiss, baring curved canines. It was debatable on what was worse in that moment, the fact that Tobias was trying to put her in a submissive position or the fact that he had in a sense insulted her honor by saying she had had sex with Frost. The whole thing was truly like watching a nature program with the way Nadya and Tobias went at it with their fighting.

She would never accept defeat, never bow below any who wasn't her brother, her Alpha. Nadya would never see Tobias as mentally fit to be a true second. As such, even though Tobias' claws remained sheathed, hers did not...and neither did her teeth. His second of distraction to her brother was all she was needing really for her to twist and writhe, claws extending to swipe at the spotted male before clamping her teeth around one of Tobias' legs that rested on top of her. Nadya didn't exert the same force as she did in the forest mere moments ago on the hunter's skull but she sure as hell aimed to draw blood. The moment Tobias' weight eased off of her she was on her feet once more, tail whipping from side to side in anger, ears flattened against her skull, and her lips twitching in short hisses towards the leopard. If he wanted a true and equal fight then she was more than willing now.

Her brother seemed to have other plans, finally stepping in to intervene, the shadows swiftly overtaking the pair leaving Nadya alone in the waiting room with Izzy confused behind her.

Nadya didn't expect to see either of them again so it was a surprise when hearing Tet's familiar vocals. She had perched herself in one of the waiting room chairs with Izzy on her lap and the two of them wrapped in the blanket the nurse had attempted to offer earlier. Slowly she rose from the chair as Tet approached, her face blank of emotion as she was unsure what to expect from him. Nadya set Izzy down on the chair in order to take the clothes from him and quietly slipped them on while her brother seemed to gather his thoughts. Once she was dressed it wasn't hard to believe the words that came out of his mouth. In hindsight she half expected him to choose Tobias and outright tell her she had to leave the pack.

"I've never invited him over or sought him out." Nadya explained quietly. "He shows up- he's kind to me and brings things for the twins. He offers for me to join him...but I always say no." If she turned on Frost when he hasn't shown any threat then there was also reason to believe he could turn it into a declaration of war to be attacked unprovoked. Seeing as short of attacking him, there was no way to keep him away from her...she had already tried the walking away and closing the door method.

Her gaze dipped to the ground when Aiden pressed his lips to her forehead. This was perhaps the most brotherly and affectionate he had been in the entirety of their reuniting. Although he wasn't directly kicking her out, his words still wounded her as there was the undertone of opening the door for her. "You are my brother. I will always choose you." Nadya whispered, "But Tobias is too unpredictable for me to let him be around the twins anymore. I don't know what to do."
