West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Despite their newly defined relationship, the blonde faerie girl still found herself standing in the middle of Raven's room, utterly convinced that her presence in the Ark was anything but welcome. Sure, Aiden had seemed okay about her being there, but he'd never invited her to the Ark before â€" though, they hadn't been together long at all and he had hardly had the opportunity to â€" and in her brief shower, she'd convinced herself that he was only being polite. It was only at Raven's insistence that her question was a stupid one that the girl offered her a tiny smile. "Okay." Raven had to be right about the man wanting her here as much as she wanted to be here. "Oh, and Raven?" She reached out, putting a hand on the girl's arm. "About what you said earlier. You... you don't have to worry about that. I would never treat Tobi badly." With that, Samantha let go of the woman, allowing herself to be led back to Aiden's room. Nervously, she gnawed on her lower lip as she entered, looking back at Raven as she froze in the doorway. "Thank you," She said kindly. "I really appreciate everything."

She hardly listened to the exchange between the two Weres, hardly concerned about the breakfast as much as she was concerned with watching the handsome man rise and come to stand in front of her. She heard the sound of the door shutting behind Raven, her head turning to whisper a goodbye to the wolf before she turned her attention back to her boyfriend and the question he asked her. "Yes," She gave him a thumbs up, her shoulders heaving in a shrug. "I... thank you. For the shower, and the... hospitality...?" She shifted on her feet, rather unable to think of a proper thing to say to the man that was her now boyfriend. At the café, it had been so remarkably easy to talk to him, though now that she was alone in his bedroom...

Still, the girl took a breath, taking a step forward to close the distance between them. It had been easier with Raven there, even though she was grateful for the privacy. She reached out gently, her fingertips grazing the bare skin of his chest. "You're distracting without a shirt on, you know. You can give a girl some ideas," She teased, a chuckle escaping her lips. It was enough to break the ice for her, the faerie girl finally lifting her gaze up to Aiden's with a smile forming on her lips. "I really am sorry for showing up like this. He just... told me to get somewhere safe, and you... you're safe to me." Samantha's fingers traced down his skin as she spoke. It was still so weird, knowing that it was okay to touch him, that he was hers.

"I didn't realize that you... The Ark... I heard Nadya talking about it. I didn't think it would be this big. And I certainly didn't realize that you were like... the Alpha, is that the right word?" The word sounded odd on Samantha's tongue, the faerie girl hardly able to associate the title with the man in front of her. "Raven was upset... when I argued with you. About looking for the..." She shook her head, a frown appearing on her features. "Which I still think is dumb, by the way. I'm fine, and you might just get yourself hurt. Or someone else hurt. I'm not worth the trouble when I'm standing here, perfectly fine." Regardless of Raven's warnings that she merely accept his word, it was still in Sam's nature to assure him that the effort was not necessary to be wasted on her. "She said something weird, too. While we were alone together." At this, Samantha raised her gaze back up to them. "Something about me being the new Alpha?"
