West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The stars in their orbits

The attack on the armadillo Were was so unlike the panther's normal disposition that it caused her mind to fight against it at first. The feline's head shook a few times as if she herself was being shocked from Tobias' words, wincing through the static in her mind as her lips remained curled back in a hiss and her gaze remained hard on the writhing screaming man. "Must...pay." The human within had slipped and the beast was at the helm and taking no prisoners. The adrenaline from the fight and the copper scent of blood filled her system with little else than the intent to remove this individual that had injured her leg.

When Tobias leapt on top of the fallen man Nadya was given to a moment's pause. Her power ceased its claim on the man, removing her onslaught of pain but the damage done to his mind was still enough to leave him whimpering in pain. He would need the touch of a healer seeing as the feline wasn't about to remove his pain for him. While Nadya's power didn't switch to lashing out at Tobias, having been blocked from her victim was surely infuriating. Her own hiss reverberated back at him, one large paw reaching out to swipe at the air towards him. There was several feet between the pair so there was no way she was going to make contact but it was her way of showing his displeasure for his action. It would remain unknown if she would have actually continued on to challenging him as Tobias used her own pheromone power against her to ease the beasts adrenaline. Nadya's head shook again, growling shortly, some part of her knowing exactly what Tobias was doing and hating it but the other part, the human part in the recesses, relishing it.

The beast within her was calmed, allowing some cognitive function to return once more...though her mind still felt heavy. The control came far too late as it was only a matter of time before one of the employees rushed to find Tet and relay what was going on. Nadya registered her brother's entrance into the ring as she regained her control once more. She had never before seen the power he wielded now that shut out all but the fight ring in a mass of solid shadow. His command caused her ears to swivel to the side, disliking having to submit, though his very presence caused her to shudder. Nadya obeyed with no hesitation though, slowly lowering her belly to touch the floor, carefully pivoting her hip in the process to favor her bleeding and fractured back leg in order to lay flat on her non-injured side. Her golden gaze never left her brother as he doled out the consequence for her behavior. How she wished to tell him she had never wanted to fight in the first place, how she had been tricked and had tried to leave. This was no consequence to her to be banned but a relief to have an excuse not to return.

It was the look in her brother's eyes that both hurt and angered her though. Nadya had to shift her head on the ground to look away from him, glaring at Tobi instead. "Lies...lies." It was his fault...and she would find a way to make the leopard pay.
