West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Nadya Tetradore

The predator stalked with slow and sure steps towards the cornered fox. She was unphased by the display she was creating around them after many days of practicing. Being holed up in the Ark left little else than time to practice and hone her abilities. Now she was able to call upon any of them, rotating between them like rapid gunfire. Seeing as Nadya had the ability to cripple Edie with searing pain and wasn't, it was further proof that there was some shred of understanding still left in the panther. Frighten...not maime or kill. The switch from headstrong to frightened was a noticeable one and the fear the rolled off her was near palatable. It near triggered her instinctual mind to eliminate weak prey.

The shift that Edie took back to her human form was perhaps a saving grace, derailing the predator mind from honing in so strongly on frightened animal. The panther's golden gaze shifted to looking up at the now naked woman pleading. How quickly this Edie changed her tune. Perhaps Frost would like a reminder of just how powerful she was and not to mess with her by sending someone to hassle her. Stalking, it would seem, was reserved for only him. In honesty, the panther was simply demonstrating her power and had no intention of throwing the woman overboard. Instead Nadya was hovering just enough distance away for the woman to figure some other way of escape. The separation from Were form meant Nadya was no longer able to communicate with Edie.

It was Edie's shout of another name that spooked the panther. Nadya's gaze flicked about anticipating the arrival of backup. If there was more than one of Frost's pack infiltrating the Ark then this was a far dire situation than the Nightshade beta thought. If they were found by her brother or Tobias then it would surely be war and there would be nothing that Nadya could do to stop Tobias from making Edie a chew toy. Nadya's ears flattened against her skull as she closed her eyes, those images of Frost attacking Raven flashing and her brother's voice...his warning. It was her job to protect the pack. Even if it meant protecting them from themselves. This flurry of confusion and panic at there being another person is what caused Nadya's next action. Her explosive power struck the barings beneath the floor that Edie was standing on to send her wounded body tossed overboard.

Nadya watched as the young girl was sent over, the hole in the steel a first for her power. She crept carefully over to the railing, lifting onto her hind legs to peer over the edge to the dark abyss of the water. It was better down there then what might have become of her from the rest of her pack. Swiftly the panther turned tail and hurried across the deck to the opposite side of the Ark.
