West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Nature girl

We're gonna rattle this ghost town

Ivy enjoys talking to Samantha, the conversation seems to be Ivy's perfect mix of serious yet playful dialogue. She normally does not like to give personal information to those she does not know, which is pretty much everyone right now, but Samantha seems different. The young fairy has already decided wholeheartedly to follow the soon-to-be-queen, and Sam already knows much more about the younger girl than the rest of the world does. Ivy already trusts her much more than anyone else, as well. Dorian does not seem half-bad, either, and she is rather excited to meet him. No matter how strange he may seem to be. Ivy smiles more at the promise of the male fairy's humorous antics and ways will be lovable. Today really is a good day, as it turns out.

As soon as Samantha makes a move to stand from the table, Ivy follows suit. This is partially due to the feeling the girl has that makes her want to stick around Sam, perhaps because of a new familiarity she has with the other fairy, more than she's had in awhile. On the other hand, despite the five years she has spent on her own, Ivy finds that she is unwilling to be in the Ark by herself quite yet. The environment is calming, but how long is that going to last while more supernatural creatures steadily pour in? Maybe Ivy should settle for meeting a handful of close new beings over meeting a boatload of vague beings who could more than likely not care who she is or what her situation is.

When the other fairy mentions fighting rings, she couldn't help but become a tad intrigued. Raven had mentioned it earlier, that it helps them feel like they belong or to bring out their other side. Of course, violence has always made Ivy cringe at the sight, but it seems like an important part of the structure of the pack. As if they need to let out their animal side, or their inner feelings maybe? She finds herself glancing over at the rings more than once as she stands and pushes in her chair. It's not the crowd that would make her uncomfortable, she is used to bigger crowds, but for right now the biggest factor would be rowdiness and the presence of so many different supernaturals.

Ivy makes a mental note of Jackal and Aiden, though she does not know the people behind the names. She guesses it's fair to say she will meet them in the future if Sam is to become a queen, her queen. The girl nods at Sam, understanding what she can of the information given. She assumes Jackal is a bouncer of sorts and that Aiden is of some equivalence to Raven on the pack hierarchy. Though, where exactly Raven stands on that she does not know. On the plus side, though, is that at least Ivy will know a few places Samantha may be during times of need.

"At least you aren't gonna be one of those queens in the stories that would refuse to talk to the people of the kingdom at all."

Ivy laughs, thinking about the fairytales she used to love when she was younger. Her mother would chide her for loving such fantastic worlds so much, but would let her get the books and movies at garage sales in the summer anyways. It's funny how she used to want to be part of those so badly, and now her life is almost turning into a fairytale of her own. She did not even realize the transformation into a story until it already began happening. Once the two leave the Ark, Ivy walks beside Samantha and lets her lead, considering Ivy doesn't have a clue as to where she is going whatsoever. This is when Sam strikes up another conversation, bringing up the name Aiden, the same name from before at the Ark.

The young fairy has a complicated relationship with romantic love. It's appealing to her, wanting a partner and all that good stuff, but her past experience has her unwilling to enter a relationship such as that. Sometimes when she is in an especially intolerant mood, she even finds herself feeling physically sick after spotting a couple making out on the street. However, it's nothing but sweet that Sam has found herself a guy she seems to care about so much. If he makes her feel happy, is that not everything a relationship needs?

"It doesn't seem weird to me, as long as you both love each other and all that jazz... Like, really love."

Ivy once thought that Neal had loved her. He seemed so nice and genuine. She really did trust him, they had so much planned together. She has found herself wondering more often than once if he had changed her to be a fairy like him so they could be together, since he wasn't human and she was. Though, someone who really cared for her would have asked for consent, given her a warning, or had given her any choice at all. What he did was not an act of love by any means.

But Ivy does certainly feel a if being a fairy is the worst thing in the world, she can relate to that. It tore her from anything good she had in her life. When Samantha begins to talk about her family, Ivy's smile that had been almost permanent on her small face begins to fade. She doesn't like to think about her family, at the same time, though, a small piece of her is happy she isn't the only one to have gone through that experience so that another can relate. It's still heartbreaking that anyone at all has to live that nightmare.

"No, I didn't tell them. It's impossible that they would ever accept me into the family, let alone allow me to live with them still," she speaks with small breaks between her words as to avoid getting choked up, "They'd have me in a straight jacket and put into an asylum or bring some freaky exorcist into my bedroom."

Ivy tried to lighten the mood with her last sentence a bit, but it is the truth about her parents. Evil, she'd be called, along with Demon and Spawn of Satan. She knows this because she's heard the news as a child, a human gone missing while at the same time an exotic animal begins to prowl in the nearby wilderness and young-looking men and women with unnaturally long lives with timelines that don't add up to modern science. Ivy believes her parents knew of the supernatural world, to an extent, and they protested it loudly. This didn't keep them from being the star family of their small town, however, any act that went even a tad out of line earned a stern scolding and a grounding. That part of her old life, Ivy supposes, is a part she does not miss.
