West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Nadya Tetradore

There was truth to Aiden's words; Nadya let her fear these past weeks dominate her life. Of course it had always been there but it had taken a leap when Micah got hurt. Nadya may not have been a teenager but she was certainly young and a young mother always got looks. Those looks she had gotten over and simply scowled back at the horrible people. They could call her young but Nadya worked damn hard at making sure she could never be called inept. Nadya wasn't a reader by any means but the books that Raven had shoved into her hands had been dutifully read and every word that Isolt offered eagerly absorbed. Every cry, every doctor's appointment, every development along the way she made sure to be there. Even when the twins had joined her at the burlesque on the nights the caregiver was unable to watch them they had never set eyes on the stage when the girls were dancing. Nadya saw no shame in her business but she held the same feeling of impressionable minds that she did towards the twins seeing the fights in the Ark. So when Micah had gotten hurt she had become frightened that she would be seen as inept.

Though she held doubt about whether her brother truly understood the words he spoke about babyproofing the Ark, she didn't speak on it. It was food for thought. It was a welcome silence that settled over the group as they ascended up onto the deck. Each knew what was expected in this moment and prepared accordingly. From the corner of her eye she was able to see Aiden wander the deck while she prepared the twins one at a time before setting them on the ground. All the nervousness and fear rolled within her making the beast itch to come out and she tried her best in the moment to keep in control. The twins needed her to focus and Aiden needed her to keep it together in order to accomplish his task. Nadya offered her words to announce she was ready and watched as a frown crossed his features. She didn't know that it was due to his difficulty at finding the pack bond to the twins. Of course she would always feel them being their mother.

In the moments of Aiden searching and crouching down, Nadya shed her own clothing, tossing it over the same drum she had neatly folded the twin's clothing. A soft puff of air was forced from her lips at the sudden tether she felt. It was like a fishing line, taught and vibrating, connecting her to her Alpha. It had been so long since she had felt that strengthened connection that came from the full moon. Nadya had only just turned to refocus on Aiden gently gripping the twin's hands when the change took over all of them as seamlessly as breathing. The twins had been captivated by being taken outside and then placed on the floor. Had they been left alone they would have surely wandered and explored until the shift had hold of their body causing their temperature to spike and bones to snap and warp with screams and cries of pain and confusion. But not tonight; tonight through Aiden's guidance the transition was smooth and painless, leaving only two inquisitive kittens in their place. Micah's ebony coat matched that of Nadya and Aiden while Izzy's spotted was a mini-me of Tobias.

Nadya was immediately on the kittens, her large head nosing at their small forms in delight and checking to see if they were indeed ok before turning her attention back to Aiden at the sound of his pleased purring. The sound was near foreign to her ears, causing a tilt of her head in curiosity, questioning at first if it was truly coming from him. Nadya was pleased as well but perhaps for different reasons than her brother. Regardless of the reasons, Nadya was overjoyed and quickly closed the small distance to smoosh her head into his before continuing on and pressing the length of her form along his just under his chin. The twins were immediately underfoot, mewing and weaving beneath Nadya's legs as she expertly stepped over them in her attention on Aiden.

With a rather dramatic flourish, Nadya's large frame twisted about to land with a flop onto her back in front of Aiden with her head facing him and her paws coming up to bat playfully at his neck. "Thank you." Her silky tone graced against his mind, feeling so grateful for what he did that the overwhelming content she felt washed over the pack bond from the panther as her own form vibrated with a deep purr. Micah had scuttled out of the way from Nadya's flop and now was attempting to clamor onto her as if she were a mountain to conquer. Izzy however had resumed her previous infatuation with Aiden's leg and wrapped her front paws around his front leg while biting at it with small playfight growls. "Maybe," Nadya spoke slowly, debating and choosing her words, "the twins could come stay here...for a trial on weekends, if we make things safe for them and you're there to teach Tobi." Though there was still hesitant fear in her tone, it was far less than when they had spoken about it inside the Ark. It was clear in how she acted now with the twins around at just how much she had changed in their absence. Her whole body language was more relaxed and even-tempered now that they were joined as a pack unit. "We can talk to mom and dad when they to get the twins in the morning. They haven't seen you since...before...they want to see you too." Despite the knowledge that her adoptive parents weren't her biological ones, it wouldn't be something she would ever be able to change from calling them. They had after all raised her as their own since she was 5.
