West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya hadn't planned on the night turning into this, pressed against Tobi and trembling with the sheer chaos that an animal wasn't meant to hold. No, she had expected to take the treasured Charles, shred him to pieces, and curl back up in bed having accomplished her revenge. Tobi wasn't supposed to find her and certainly wasn't supposed to trigger this spiral downward. Surely an outsider would have deemed this breakdown as a necessary part but it didn't mean Nadya would willingly accept it.

Each powerful shove against Tobias lessened on impact. Even his strike against her was ignored to simply throw her weight against him again. That alone was a break in their usual behavior lashing out at each other that she didn't increase the aggression rate. No, his question about the kittens, asking where they were and if they were coming back broke her. The ebony jaguar pressed heavily against the muscled spotted leopard as her ragged breathing ripped from her. Animals were not built to cry so her body was at a loss, unknowing of what to do with the emotions that flooded her. Nadya could only manage one shaky word, "No."

The caress of Tobi's tongue against her in a soothing fashion was a surprise though hardly unwelcome. Nadya didn't wish for it to calm her but it was hardly something she had control over as it was a reflex. Her ears pressed against her head, as if she could will herself to hold onto that frustrated irritation at him. Must.not.like.grooming. It was a futile attempt though as the continued ministrations saw her form relax under his touch. "I can't...leave." How was she to explain such a complicated matter to someone with such a limited comprehension of language and even the world around him? If only she could feel as simply as he and easily forget the things that caused her such pain. As Nadya remained where she was, eyes shut and accepting the grooming from Tobias, she thought on just how to answer his answer. She was sad...but why exactly?

"I'm sad...because I miss...before..." Nadya searched for that bond that existed between the two, one unique to the one that she shared with her brother. Each had a string that tethered them to their Alpha but then each between themselves was unique. This bond between herself and Tobi was deeper than as simple packmates though surely more delicate than the one that existed between lovers. They were tethered irrevocably now from the twins. It made it that much easier to share with him the memories of the life she missed and caused her sadness. The memories of her, Tobi, and Tet as children laughing and playing in their parent's home, Nadya being picked up and tossed into the air by her father, sitting on his lap as he read the morning paper, kissing her forehead as he tucked her into bed, and then the trio grown and running together in the forest after finding each other again, and in a feline kittypile within Isolt's apartment before the acquisition of the Ark. "I'm sad...because it's gone...the kittens...they won't know." Fresh memories now flooded through the bond; Tet's eyes filled with disappointment, the full moon hanging above with only Nadya and the kittens beneath its light, Tet and Tobi fighting in the ring, her holding Micah as he bled from his side wound, Tet hunched and recluse over his desk, and Nadya kissing the twins goodbye as she left them with her adoptive pack.

Nadya slowly stepped away from Tobias then, her yellow hued gaze sliding over the large deck before settling on him once more. "It's different now. The kittens...they can't grow up here...they need a family." It wasn't just the Ark that Nadya had trouble bringing the twins into but the very fabric of their pack which had deteriorated so much. Her memories of how her family and pack was, so close and supportive, was what she wanted for the twins. Izzy and Micah would never have a real father figure, never have those experiences that Nadya had with hers that she treasured so much. It had become quickly apparent though that she couldn't live apart from them and it was those feelings that had her reevaluating late into the night that offer that the platinum blonde had extended. "I can't stay here forever." It was simply put yet held so much meaning and perhaps was the first clue Nadya was giving on her thoughts to leaving. Her brother had found Sam and Tobi had found Raven...was she not allowed to go and find her happy ending?
