West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The young faerie queen didn't need to turn around to understand who was behind her. No, she knew without a shadow of a doubt that it would be Aiden that followed her up to the deck. Half of her wanted to rejoice in that. She wanted to run to him and throw her arms around him and let him take away all the scary things that she was most certainly feeling at the moment. But the other half of her - the side that was winning out - wanted to scream at him and run from him. That side still felt the after-effects of the fear that he induced within her. That side made her want to bolt and scream and cry. It was that side of her that influenced the words that spilt from her mouth. She was hardly surprised by the deadpan way that he responded to her, and it was his response that had her anger boiling up, up, and over to split the barrels upon the deck. She hated the way that he seemed so unbothered by her anger, so unconcerned. The face of the man she'd woken up next to seemed so far away.

Her anger turned to near hysterics as she spoke of his fear inducement on her. The tears she'd tried to hold in spilt on her pale cheeks as he spoke, and the girl moved from anger to this overwhelming sadness as she moved to wrap her arms around herself. She was in the way. In the way. In the way. She had tried to protect her friend and she was in the way. She knew that Aiden was the Alpha of this pack. She knew that, and she knew that the events of this evening had to do with that very title. She knew he had to be dominant over the other members of the pack. But when those things turned to her... it was terrifying. What kind of hold would he try to have over her? What kind of hold did he already claim to her?

"Do you even care?" The faerie queen said very softly, the anger and hostility fading quickly into the timid creature she so often was. Her gaze trailed downwards, staring more at his feet than at him. It was a truly submissive gesture towards him, one that the faerie girl couldn't quite subdue within herself. She wasn't quite sure if it was left over from his effects on her, or just a result of how things were. "You terrified me, Aiden. You used your power on me. I... the first time it was an accident. And you know what, I... I know I used mine on you but I didn't mean to... and you were so upset with me... and I..."

The girl reached up, tugging on a piece of her blonde hair. She was slouching and biting her lips in a way that would certainly appall Dorian if he saw it. But any of the happy, upbeat girl that she had been an hour ago was washed away by the events. "I... do you even care about me at all, Aiden? I... I won't get in the way of your pack, and I'm sorry I did that... but I can't believe that you would use your power on me." She turned swiftly, walking towards the railing of the boat. She couldn't look at him right now, couldn't... She reached forward, putting her hands on the railing to steady herself. The instant her skin touched the steel of the railing, the girl let out a yelp as its iron contents burnt at her skin. She swallowed, pulling the injured palms into herself as she bowed her head, completely giving up on the notion of fighting.
