West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I make no judgements on Nadya for anything she does. I didn't think about asking why she wasn't at the Ark that day that Frost attacked. I know that was around the time she had her children so they probably needed her. A mother's priorities are number one and I don't blame her at all. I'm sure if she had known, she would have been there at her brother's side in a heartbeat. She seems surprised that I have been around Frost myself. I guess I never did get a chance to sit down and talk with her after meeting Frost. I never got to tell her that I know him and how. Well now's better than never. She seems deeply troubled when I bring up the attack at the Ark. I'm guessing she didn't get to see the pretty side of it and she confirms that when she tells me that she healed wounds from Frost's dark side. I frown in sympathy and nod. I'm guessing she knows what she's doing when it comes to Frost and I trust her judgement. She must know somehow that she has some kind of power over him. I just hope she can use that for good.

I listen as she explains and I know it to be true. I've witnessed firsthand the breaking down process. I remember how he made me see a foxhound running at me to kill and how terrified I was then. That was before I left. I shake my head. "I guess I really only got to witness the whole breaking down process. That wasn't fun at all." I murmur softly. "He needs to find a better way. He only succeeded to making me hate him for that and fear is no way to gain followers or loyalty." I sniff and flick my ears back. I know that Nadya is different, much different. She made me feel more confident when she took me and Raven shopping and tried to build a friendship with the wolf even though they were wary of each other. She also mothered me and protected me and that breeds loyalty way better than anything Frost has done. I would throw myself into danger for Nadya three times over before I would even consider it for Frost.

I nod to let her know that I believe her when she says that she doesn't seek him out. I know that Frost is good about tracking down the ones he is after. He's found me in many sticky situations so I'm sure he would go to much higher lengths to find someone of interest to him like Nadya. I'm also glad that she doesn't push for names on who told me that he's interested in her. She must know that I'm protecting someone and that's respectful of her not to press because I would stuck between wanting to be honest with her and wanting to defend Edie. I feel her paw on my back and I sigh in contentment, leaning toward her. Her touch is one of the few that comforts me and always has. When I bring up the children though, her fur ruffles and I pick up on the sudden tension, my ears flicking back as my brow furrows in concern. Of course the minute she starts talking, I understand. My eyes widen, sadness overwhelming me for Nadya and the pain she must feel being separated from her children.

Even as she tells the story of how her children got attacked by hunters and how Frost had to heal them, I frown with sympathy in my gaze. "That must have been so scary." I say softly. I can see that she hates that she can't be with them all the time and I do wonder a little why she doesn't trust Tobias around them. I always thought of him as a kid at heart anyway so how is he dangerous? Though I haven't been around any of them in a while and the last time I saw Tobias, he did shoot a harpoon at me. She must know more about him than I do so I'm sure she has her reasons. I nod. "I'm sorry." It's all I can think of to say. Sorry for her situation. Sorry that she can't be with them. Sorry that they got hurt. I lean my head into her chest, nuzzling into her fur and making soft comforting noises. I look up at her offer and smile, showing a sliver of fox teeth. "I would like that."
