West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There was something that seemed to relax the faerie queen at the notion of just playing. It was such a childlike, carefree notion and it seemed to let the woman's shoulders relax as she picked up the dragon to pull within her lap. It had been so long since she'd played with toys. Back when she was a child, maybe, when things were simpler and the only monsters in the world were what lived in her closet. She wanted to go back to that time, and perhaps for a bit of time next to Tobi she could let that happen.

It was with that in mind that she had taken the dragon, attempting to explain that the angry snake was in fact called a dragon, a fact that Tobi seemed completely in denial about. She chuckled, her head shaking. "Graham, of course," She said with a nod. "I merely meant that was the species... the... err... kind of animal he is. Like Aiden is a panther! And Raven is a wolf. That's what I meant." She smiled brightly at him. "But of course, Graham is a much better name, I agree." Her grin was genuine as she followed his car around with the dragon, giggling to herself at the playful notion that they were both presented with. It was only when she relaxed so entirely that she began to speak of her own title.

"Exactly like an Alpha," She nodded as she continued to chase the car around the bed. "And I have a friend, Dorian, who... well, I don't have a word for him yet. But he would be like a Beta." She kept her words simple, attempting to explain it to him. Still, he seemed not to worry about that at all, instead his attention focused on not having a tower. She shook her head. "Do you have blocks? We could build one. Or boxes... I used to love to build things out of boxes."

It was that that she was thinking about as the car drove over her leg, that last question slipping from his lips being the one that threw her entirely. She hardly expected this fractured mind to ask that kind of question. Nor did the young girl truly have an answer for him. Her gaze rose to look at him, biting her lip as she thought about it. Did she love Aiden? She was certainly fond of him. She felt safe with him. She enjoyed spending time with him more than she enjoyed anyone else. But did that count as love? She'd never been in love before, she had no idea what it was supposed to feel like.

"I don't know," She replied honestly, though she wasn't sure that would be enough to satisfy his nearly child-like mind. "I do care about him, and maybe I love him. I definitely am falling for him. But I haven't told him I love him yet... But I wouldn't say that I don't feel that." She gave him a nervous smile as she let Graham chase the car off her lap. "I know that probably is confusing. I wish had a better answer for you."
