West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Samantha Cassidy

Of course Nadya would immediately think it was something that Aiden had done wrong. In another circumstance, that alone would have been enough to make Samantha laugh. Nadya thought too highly of Samantha, the faerie queen was positive of that. But Aiden had done nothing. Aiden was perfect and kind and the best she could ask for, and Samantha would be the first to defend him in absolutely any situation. Still, she truly couldn't think of a way to explain why she was up on the deck of the Ark in tears. She'd just opened her mouth to try to explain when the twins burst into Samantha's personal space. It was Micah that allowed Samantha to cuddle into her lap. Micah was always the snuggly one, and Samantha always enjoyed the cuddled that he would provide. Still, she loved Izzy as well and the way she was always willing to play and explore everything. Samantha would never have her own children, especially if she continued a relationship with Aiden, and truly she adored the twins as though they were her own.

It was Nadya's words that caused Samantha to jump, and instinctively she hid her palms against Micah's tiny body. She felt embarrassed by the burns on her hands. What kind of idiot faerie girl couldn't keep her hands off of iron? They burned and made her whole body feel cold from the fire in her palms. But truly... she had almost forgotten about the pain. "I... It's nothing," She said numbly, her voice coming off in an entirely meek fashion. She tensed as Nadya leaned in and pressed her lips to her forehead. Immediately she could feel that familiar tingle and the burn on her palms seemed to immediately disappear. Though Nadya looked at Samantha intently, the faerie girl refused to meet her gaze. The empath was so aware of the confusion and worry that seemed to radiate off of Nadya and made her own chest ache. She wanted to explain and reassure her... but what could she say? What was there to say?

"I know," Samantha said quietly, carefully placing Micah down beside Izzy. She shifted to pull her knees tight against her chest, her arms wrapping around them. She pressed her forehead against her knees, taking deep breaths in the attempt to steady herself. She knew she hadn't gone to work. She knew that, eventually, Nadya would notice and scold her. Hell... she should fire her. Anyone else surely would. If any of the other girls acted like this, Samantha wouldn't have put up with it. But she couldn't tell Nadya... not the real reason. No, Nadya would march her right to Aiden and tell him, and that alone was enough to terrify her. Samantha doubted that Aiden was truly involved with the faeries that changed her... and yet even the tiniest risk was enough to make Sam's heart race.

"I... I don't know how... I..." She stuttered out, struggling for words. It had been the most recent incident that had made her the most afraid. The Hunter within her home was enough to completely shake her. The Hunter... that seemed a safe enough thing to bring up. She sat up a little, running a hand through her red locks. "Um. A Hunter came to my house recently." She managed. Her throat felt dry and her tongue too heavy. The Hunter had shaken her, though not nearly as much as everything else had. "Um. He was l... looking for Dorian. The Council is after him. And he said that they were keeping an eye on me and my monarchy as well." She said softly. "I... It scared me."
