West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It was truly a miracle that Raven was capable of being such a caring and sweet-natured young woman. By no means did she deserve to be like that. Anyone would have given her the benefit of the doubt, or the understanding, if she chose to be cruel and selfish. As a child of an Alpha, it was reasonable that she would want to obtain things for herself, but within her blood was a higher need to connect and share with others. Perhaps that was her saving grace. By no means did she act as a dominant creature, she was far too subservient, but that didn't mean she wasn't incapable of showing that side. She just hadn't needed a reason to show it before. Tonight she appreciated Tobias' attempt to show this gentler side of himself. In a way, she felt proud that she had somehow taught him to be like this, pleased to see how much their hard work paid off. The way he came closer to her, was welcomed, she was willing to have his shoulder press into his own and she returned the touch, wanting more. It goes without notice that before she eats the fish he rubs his hand across his dark hair, the young woman attempting to please him, as she bites into the fish. Eating raw fish wasn't enjoyable, and yet, she did not want him to feel like he was in the wrong. He needed to see that sharing was a good thing. As she chews the tangy meat, she hears him clap with gee, a small smile appearing on her face when she manages to swallow her bite.

It seemed absolutely right, that tonight of all nights, he would manage to say those three extremely important words. Whether this side of him understood the meaning behind the words, or not, was something she did not know, but she knew so very well that his other half was aware of the meaning. As she rewards him with a kiss, she notices the frown on his face, and for a moment there is a look of concern on her mauled face. Yet when he returns the kiss all her worries melt away, and instead, the girl looks at him with such a loving gaze. She is happy to have her arm around him, still wanting that close touch, remembering when his own arm slid around her in a protective and endearing manner. While he replies in understanding that she loves him as well, she eagerly deepens the kiss as he initiates it first, her eyes closed not seeing that flicker of golden within those dark fathomless eyes. Softly she murmurs gently to her deviant companion, wanting him to hear her out, if only for a moment.

"I am glad you always know. Sometimes it is good to remind each other how much we do love one another. So...whenever you need to tell me, or show me you love me, don't be afraid to."

Happily she allows her head to rest on his shoulder for a moment quite content and happy in this moment. Who knew that underneath the autumn starry night she would hear her abnormal mate say aloud those three important words. As always though such perfect moments were altered the moment when reality came back. As Tobias gestures to the half-eaten fish still in her hand, Raven smiles sheepishly, looking back at the fish. With a gentle kiss on the cheek she nods, still holding onto the fish.

"Oh yes, can I just have a little bit more? Thank you again for sharing Tobi."

She was indeed hungry and even though eating raw fish wasn't ideal, she didn't necessarily want to appear ungrateful. After all it wasn't every day that her mate decided to share anything with her, let alone food. Raven wanted Tobias to see that it was good to share sometimes and if she had to eat the raw fish, then she would. Quickly she takes another two bites, plenty of meat still on the fish, as she hands it to him to eat. While he finishes the rest of the fish she looks up at the stars for a moment, a small smile still on her lips. She feels his hand gently be placed upon her shoulder, noticing how he is gently pushing her down, obediently she gradually lies herself on the ground. As he brings himself down as well, she quickly curls herself into his side, enjoying the closeness. As her body melts into his own, she lays her head right at the crook of his chest, her head tilting upwards to see him as she kisses him gently. As his hand goes to her hair, she feels his long finger curl around a strand of her golden-brown curl, finding the touch satisfying, as her hand reaches his other one, squeezing it gently. Who knew Tobias was capable of doing such a beautiful and wonderful job with their second date. This was indeed how a date goes!

"I am very happy, this is a very good date."
