West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The sudden kiss to her cheek warmed her from the inside out, yet this time she managed to keep her blushing at bay. Without commenting on it she continues to hide the book successfully as she strolls casually back towards him, arms folded across her chest. She starts suddenly as he places his hands on her hips but doesn't object to his placement. Tilting her head at him slightly she regards him as a brow arches in amusement, "You are a bad influence Mr. Holloway," she quirks a grin at him, "If I didn't train on my days off I wouldn't have been able to save you," she teases him.

Oh, she would never let him live that one down.

As he ponders about the blade briefly, Vhal simply nods her head in agreement. She wasn't terribly familiar with the poison itself but the witch made it a priority to research it the next time she had a chance, or she could give her old friend Spencer a visit too. Tucking the information away she glances down at him again watching the thoughts race across his mind. She knew she needed to make a priority of her training but the idea of spending the entire day in here with Will caused an unfamiliar longing to bloom in her chest.

She was about to give into his demands when the amusement suddenly died from the hunter's face. Tensing in his hands she digs her fingers into her own arms as she regards him narrowly. Furrowing her brows at him she can't help but feel a sense of guiltiness for researching him without his knowing and sorrow for the pain he had suffered throughout his long lifespan. Feeling him take her hand she allows him and glances down at his pleading eyes. Releasing a sigh through her nose, she closes her eyes briefly and pulls away from him.

Turning on a heel she wanders back towards the bookshelf and fingers through the titles until she lands on his. Hesitantly she grabs ahold of it and slowly walks back to the injured man lounging in her chair. "Are you sure?" she asks, clutching the book to her chest, "Sometimes there are... things that are better left in the past," she says despondently, her features wiped clean of all emotion.

"There are a lot of things that I wish I could forget."

Trailing off she could see that this was a decision she shouldn't be influencing. Cursing herself she hands him the book and steps back, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have tried to influence your decision. That's something you need to make on your own. As for staying, I think you could use some privacy for that," she gestures at the book now in his hands. "I should also apologize for researching you instead of asking you, honestly Will, I didn't think I would see you again." She admits, a hand moving up to rub the back of her neck.

"I'll leave the door open, so if you need anything just give me a holler I'll just be down the hall," she says quietly, backing away slowly before reaching a hand out to the double doors. Opening it, she looks over her shoulder at Will before slipping out of the library. Leaving the door cracked she goes but two steps and slumps down the wall, her arms looped around her legs. The assassin wasn't lying when she said she wouldn't go far, she was strangely worried for the man. An emotion that continued to pop up just recently. Worrying for Sam, worrying for Will, would did she start surrounding herself with friends? Didn't she know it was dangerous?
