West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The young witch was altogether oblivious to the maternal instinct that so pulled at her companion. Serafina herself had hardly an ounce such a desire to so care to the extent her wolverine companion did for the kittens behind the glass. After all, such an emotion had never once been displayed for her. Her parents had abandoned her to the streets, the homeless had walked in and out of her life and even then, when she'd found some stability within her mentor, he had hardly truly cared for her. No, care was an emotion that Serafina simply didn't understand. Those desires that filled Raven were entirely foreign to her, hardly on the scale of something even recognizable. And so, instead, the young witch only assumed that Raven's interest within those felines was much akin to her intrigue in those rabbits. It was normal really, she was sure she couldn't be faulted for expecting Raven simply wanted to consume the cats. After all, the woman had a habit of acting like wolf when she least expected it and, on the complete opposite side, acting compassionate and human when Serafina was assured her actions was due to her animalistic instincts.

It took some nudging before Serafina was able to move the wolf from the front of the cat cages, the woman entirely ignoring the whimpering sounds that left Raven's parted maw. All that mattered in that moment was that she purchased something for them to play with and managed to get out of the store without any great event occurring. As much as she hated to admit it, the chastising from the manager had certainly settled with her in a wrong way, wounding the young woman's pride to the point where she had every intention of proving him wrong in every aspect she could. Thankfully, once she had pulled Raven from the sight of those cats, the wolf seemed willing enough to calm, remaining by her side as the pair stood in line. Her stormy gaze surveyed the store around her, her lips pulled in a tight line as she shifted ever so slightly, clearly on high alert for any potential problem that might stand in the way between herself and that door that was but feet from her. She pulled out her card, busying herself with the terminal to pay for the toys. It was in that moment of distraction that the Rottweiler and his owner so walked through those sliding doors.

It was the sound of that growl that pulled her attention away from the receipt handed to her, her lips twisting in a frown at the sound of that rumbling growl. "Come on Raven." She uttered softly, reaching down to run her hand through the wolf's fur as she guided the woman back to the car. Serafina settled in that seat with a soft sigh of relief, glancing back at Raven. "Thank you." She muttered softly, knowing well that Raven would hardly make any sense of the words she spoke and yet, her gratitude still could not go unvoiced. Still, Serafina was far too keen to leave that pet store behind, turning the car on and soon enough the pair were on their way to the west side. It wasn't her original intent but, she had come to know more desolate areas in the Western ward and, after all, with it being familiar territory, perhaps something would click in the woman enough to bring her back to her senses. If not, at least it made it easier to take her home.
