West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Edie had so far proven to be a decidedly good choice for this little adventure. The woman's natural confidence, her charisma, her showmanship, in a fashion, readily allowing his beta to fall so effortlessly into the role she had been cast in tonight. Her feminine figure distracting enough to prevent any suspicion falling upon himself, most of the men affording him little more then a dubious glance before readily reverting their gaze back to Edie herself, allowing Frost to implement his own talents. The less he was required to use his illusions the better, the man, so far, having to rely on but one of his talents, allowing him to remain aware of every hand at that table and yet the exercise was proving more draining then he had anticipated. The stallion never before having had to summon his affinity for such an extended period of time and upon so many individuals. So far however, it was proving fruitful, the pair continuing to win from table to table, progressing hurriedly higher in those ranks and moving further and further upward with each buy in, Edie's assurance that they would be fine affording the snowy-haired man a momentary simper before they found themselves at yet another table. This one with another female player, one far less inclined to be distracted by Edie herself, the woman already curios as to why Frost himself continued to linger, her male counterparts having lost interest in the stallion long ago with Edie seated before them in all her radiant glory. The woman however, was proving to be a problem.

That sudden press of Edie's words to his mind see those violet eyes fall upon her before lifting upward and towards the woman in question, his own features frowning slightly at Edie's request to walk away, his Beta apparently assured she could handle this alone. He was reluctant, at best, to leave the woma unattended and yet the only other female at that table was going to compromise them further, Frost reaching into his pocket as if his phone had vibrated, lifting it to his ear as he turned his back to the table, wandering several steps away- the womans intrigue in him rapidly lessening the moment he was out of sight. Frost remaining several feet away as if engaged in some important conversation before Edie returned at last, winnings in hand. Hmm. Perhaps she was more capable then she appeared. Frost content to allow her lips to grace his cheek s she suggested all male tables only, a look of amusement crossing his features before he simply nodded- allowing her hand to grasp his own and lead the way to another table before her choice of words became further apparent to him. Frost inclined to miss little when he chose.

"Your affinity?"

He is afforded decidedly little time to question her further, the stallion unsure as to just which of her affinities she refered to, the man hardly privy to knowledge of them all and yet for now he merely brushes it aside, focused now upon the new hand to be played, Edie's words seeing his own affinity shift to press upon one man then the other- a soft nod offered to assure the woman she was correct in her assumption in the least. One man held a truly poor hand, the other was far more skilful- Edie suddenly content to go all in without his instruction.

Edie! What are you doing? I gave you no authority for that.

One hand lifts to run through those snow locks of hair, Frost finding himself almost...anxious for the first time, his Beta so apparently having chosen to go rouge here and now, the woman having bet perhaps more than even she realised....several hundred thousand dollars more. Had she no idea what she was gambling with ?! Oh now it was his turn was it? His gaze narrowed slightly upon the woman, regarding her with a momentary disdain before shifting his affinity rapidly to focus on the other two men. Edie's hand not nearly as good as the second man. Frost, for the first time, engaging those illusionary abilities to so delicately shift those cards in their favour, allowing Edies hand to gain strength with each passing round. How on earth Edie had convinced them all to go all in he hardly knew and yet if they won the prize money would be several million. Even with his own ability to read those cards the man found himself distinctly....uncomfortable with a gamble this large, at least, not until Edie finally laid down the winning hand- taking the entirety of the pot and stirring a smile of sorts to his lips- even despite her gamble.

"That was a little daring now wasn't it?"

His words were little more then a whisper as Edie at last rises, his words spoken softly to her ear alone, pulling the slender woman against him as if in a lovers embrace of sorts before gently taking those winnings from her, a soft murmur that he would return in one moment uttered before he moved to slip away to that bank located within the casino, the stallion diligently reviewing their finances for a moment- this evening with Edie's final gamble- having proven to be more profitable then he anticipated. The true amount however he kept entirely to himself, Frost seeing little need to inform the girl of it now as he returned to her side. Those smooth, cold words little more than a whisper once more.

"One more round and I think we will have everything we need, let us try the high rollers table, although this time maybe we will not go quite all in, hmmm? We will talk about your other affinities later too."

One eye simply lifts, his hand entwining effortlessly with her own, leading her to that final table- the men gathered here by far the most exceptional of the players, the buy in for this far more than any other- Frost taking his place to the side once more. Allowing Edie to work unhindered as his own affinity once more extended, readily setting Edie up for that final win. It was chance perhaps, that saw the man glance upward, a well-dressed Fae leaning towards another man near the bar, the briefest of gestures afforded in Frost's direction.

Move quickly Edie, we need to go. Excuse yourself as soon as you're done, take the money with with you and head for the ladies bathroom. I am entirely sure that Fae man is going to follow you, pretend you don't notice him. I'll meet up with you there.

Surely she could stay out of trouble for ten minutes, Frost assured she would win now, the stallion abruptly shifting to stroll back out and into the larger casino, doing as neither security guard anticipated in splitting from his companion. Hopefully Edie had obeyed his command.
