West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Samantha Cassidy

For months and months, the place that Samantha had found herself feeling most at home was the bedroom of the Nightshade Alpha. Samantha herself being one of those few individuals that was so allowed to make herself at home within those four walls. She slept here almost as much as she slept within her own bed. She kept clothes here. She had things in his drawers. Shampoo in his shower. All the markings of a girl who was quite comfortable within a space. But tonight, she was finding that none of that comfort so existed any longer. It took everything she had to do as Tobi clearly wanted her to and so crawl within that bed, and even then her very being ached at the knowledge that this may be the last time she would crawl within it. As she picked that pillow up to rest it within her lap, her eyes rested on Tobi and the tail that so wrapped in her lap. Almost instinctively she reached out to so stroke the feline's tail. She couldn't help herself as she continued to apologize for what had happened. It had been all her fault, after all. If she hadn't been caught up in her own naivety and blind trust, none of this would have happened.

Tobi, however, seemed to think otherwise. His words pressing on her mind had her looking up. It was not the lack of blame that surprised her, but rather that he seemed so determined to seek revenge on the WereHorse. Samantha had just opened her mouth to protest when Raven so beat her to it, and the Fae Queen nodded in agreement. "Ra... Raven is right Tobi. There's no need to..." She trailed off, simply unsure of what to say. She had no doubt that Frost would best Tobi if he could do that with Aiden. She was so confused. Aiden had been winning. It had looked like he was winning. And then he hadn't. And then there was burning. So much... It didn't make any sense. Samantha had never seen anything like it. And even if she wished that Frost would pay for what it was that he had done, she wouldn't want anyone else she loved to be put at risk. If something happened to Tobi or to Raven or to Nadya... she couldn't bare the guilt.

The girl fell silent once more as Tobi ordered for Alexis to gather the rest of the staff. More people to tell. More pain to spread across the Ark. No, Samantha was content to lose herself in her grief for a moment before Tobi's voice pressed against her mind once more and indicated that the 'loud man' was nearby. "What?" Samantha said softly, her words certainly full of the confusion she felt at Tobi's dismissal. Did that mean that Tobi no longer wanted her here? It was only seconds later when the door opened did Samantha get an answer. Her head snapped up as she regarded Dorian within the doorway. Dorian was the last person she expected to see, and yet she couldn't deny the lurch in her chest at the sight of him. Her eyes flickered away from Dorian for only a second at Tobi's hiss. "Tobi, he's with me." She said softly.

Samantha quickly untangled herself from Tobi's tail and the blankets and pillows as Dorian crossed the room. She launched herself off the bed, wrapping her arms around Dorian's middle as she so clung to him. There was something so decidedly comforting about Dorian's presence in the room. Now that she had the Beta man within her grasp, she had no intentions of letting him go. Still, her throat felt entirely dry as she looked up at her companion. She had to tell him. She pulled herself together for just a moment as she spoke. "Dorian... Aiden... Aiden was killed tonight. I... I watched it happen."
