West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

It wasn't every day Raven was treated to spending time with Tobias' sane side. She would be lying if she said she never wished he was around more often. Oh how she wished to spend more time with him when he was like this. She needed the emotional and mental support from her other half. There were fears and worries she wished to converse with him about, wanting him to reassure her, for wasn't that the job of her mate? She never told him, but she knew he needed to be aware. The only individual she feared the most, other than Frost, was her own Father. Tetradore knew this, but he was gone now and wasn't here to stop him. Her mate needed to be aware not only because he was a threat to their small little pack, but because he was a threat to them as well. The young woman knew that she couldn't tell his other half about it, because he wouldn't understand. Even though she desperately wanted to tell him it would not happen, not tonight. Besides, she was having a much better time being curled within his lap, enjoying the feeling of his arms around her, holding her in such a possessive way. Raven enjoyed it when his more possessive side came out. For a girl that never felt wanted or felt like she belonged, it meant the world to her knowing that there was someone that wanted her. She loved him dearly and she wasn't quite sure he could see how much she loved him, while they sat curled up together on top of the car, with the city lights twinkling in the background, while being bathed within the silvery touch of the moon.

A sly grin appeared upon her pink lips at the comment that he was of age to do legal things that mattered. Eagerly she pressed herself closer into his frame as he took her in for another passionate kiss. It was not like her at all to be so engaged within their public affection. She was far too chaste to even be this cuddly even within the privacy of their own bedroom. One bad behavior, like stealing, apparently had given the woman enough leeway to begin providing more affection. It would seem his capability of tearing down one wall at a time was improving tremendously...and Raven was ever so willing for him to continue his deconstruction. Opposites do indeed attract one another and they were a perfect example. They relied on the strength of one another. Both having what the other lacked and what the other wished to obtain. It was a workable relationship for the two, no, the three of them. She was the ever virtuous angel and he was the mischievous demon, gradually transforming her into a fallen angel...his fallen angel. She couldn't help, but lean her head against his hand when he tucked some of her soft-golden brown curls behind her ear. She would have to disagree with his percentage as to how much he leads. She would say that at least ninety-nine percent of the time he led, and only on a rare chance did she lead. Indeed he was most likely to jump off a cliff, but that didn't mean he would be alone. Softly she chuckles as she gently explains in jest and truth.

"I'm pretty sure I'd still follow you, even if you jumped off a cliff. That way I could rescue you, and get us both to safety. Someone has to keep an eye on you Tobias."

There would be times in the future that Raven would not want to follow Tobias. It could be a dangerous activity that would harm the two of them. It could be a situation that was deplorable and unmoral. Yet she would gently guide her companion the correct way, if possible, whatever the circumstances would be. Of course there were moments in which that she would need to ignore her internal voice and simply let go for a change. There was a time and place where one was allowed to not be their best selves, and Raven needed to learn and see that she could still be a good person with a little bit of red in her ledger. Easily she leaned into her beloved companion as his lips pressed into her neck, the hair on the back of her neck rising, as she anticipated for his teeth to sink into her flesh. It was a primal reaction and she learned over time that she enjoyed that particular touch, to feel him mark her as his, and his alone. Deep down she rather enjoyed these tender moments of affection, always eager for more. When his teeth found the lobe of her ear she couldn't help, but sigh softly finding this gesture teasing. Well, she was willing to up the ante a bit. She allowed her lips to travel down his jawline, her teeth picking at the skin of his neck, hearing the softest of groans, as a knowing smile pressed into the skin of his neck.

By permitting him to continue, to take the next step, was perhaps the best awaiting gift the two of them were hoping to have. She was trying and he needed to see that. Even though she loved him dearly and he declared that they were mates, and one day married, there was always that seed of doubt that was in the back of her mind. The lack of love from her own parents, the lack of trust she had for them and her pack, was enough to give the woman to believe that she would be abandoned once more. Her trust in the man was so strong that if he broke their relationship, if he left her for whatever reason, it would truly kill her. Raven was fragile and he needed to handle her heart with much care, because if handled improperly it would break in an instant. As his hand reached towards her head, she titled it back as he wanted, blue-grey eyes looking into that swirl of gold and black, wondering if he was dealing with another internal battle for the right to be in control. His mention of being properly kissed was met with a look of confusion. Had she always been doing it wrong? She's never had practice before with silly little schoolyard crushes or teenaged mistakes. She was willingly to learn, of course, but she couldn't help but wonder how Tobias would know and she didn't. It was the thought of Nadya having him teach such a thing that a sickening feeling appeared in her stomach, as that pang and jealously came back, but thankfully it was washed away the moment he pressed his lips once against to her own.

It began gently as always, but it was the feeling of his tongue pressing forward to brush against her own, that caused her to still for a moment, not understanding at first, but either way her lips parted for him. Indeed Raven had never experienced a French kiss before. This particular kiss was a deep one, stimulating both as this sensitive touch and act was enough to induce arousal to both. For once there was no thought as to what was circling her mind, the woman was simply there in the moment. It was a whirlwind for the novice. Her mind was buzzing thoroughly as a warm feeling spread throughout the inside of her lithe frame. As he shifted forward she responded matching what he was doing as she allowed the kiss to deepen, Raven becoming a quick learner. As the kiss broke between them her cheeks were flushed with excitement and the lack of oxygen. Catching her breath she looked to her deviant companion matching his own soft grin with her own. Hesitantly she murmured softly, the girl shaking from nerves and the fluttery feeling falling, and embarrassment.

"I-I-I liked that way...a lot."

As his lips softly pressed against her own she was distracted not realizing his hands slip from her waist. However, she did realize how his hands slid up underneath the fabric of her navy blue dress, how she felt the cold increase against her legs with the fabric moving upwards. His warm hands pressed against the skin of her thighs, this was new and uncharted territory, but she did not move away, rather she stayed still. As he titled his head to allow his lips to brush along her neck, she could feel his lips brushing against each jagged scar, some faint while others were deep. How he could ignore them she did not know. In a way it felt rather good that he kissed each of those scars rather than ignoring them all together. Because in a way he did not see them as something grotesque or to be frowned upon, but rather as cracks that he was meant to repair with his love. There were numerous scars upon her, both visible and not visible to the naked eye. Each one carried pain and each one needed to be healed. The question was, was Tobias willing to pour his love into each scar and did he have enough to heal her very soul? It was good that he recognized she was broken, but she recognized he was broken as well. As the strap was lifted and fell off her shoulder she shuddered and leaned into him, as a brush of winter wind swirled around them. She did not stop him as his lips continued to brush along her bare scarred shoulder. Hearing the affection in his voice as he questioned her once more allowed a softest of smiles to appear. He was so thoughtful, so understanding and she was appreciative of that. Grateful that he was allowing them to take it slow giving her all the time she needed. Softly she whispered looking at him with such a loving gaze.

"But I don't want you to stop."

Gently one of her hands touches the side of his face as her fingers gently slide through his dark clean hair. She couldn't recall a moment when he was this clean before. She leans in to kiss his forehead gently, letting him leave her shoulder for a moment. With a grin she places a gentle kiss upon him, as she leans her forehead against his own, as her arms wrapped around his shoulder, wanting him close. This was the very last thing that she could call her own. This was all that she had left to her name. In today's society it didn't mean anything, the weight didn't hold, but for someone like her it meant everything. It was her innocence and she was willing to give it all to him. She trusted him completely, loved him devoutly, and she hoped that he felt the same way in return. He was all that she had. He was her missing half. He had filled that sense of emptiness within her heart she had felt for so long. She had no idea if any of these things he felt the same way, he wasn't one to talk about himself or express what his needs were, even though she was ready to listen and fulfill each and every request. With a soft sigh she whispered again.

"Sure I'm scared, but that doesn't mean I don't want to."

Lovingly her eyes met his own, watching him carefully, waiting to anticipate what he wished to do. He was her whole world. She was willing to give him everything. There were many things that were new in life, and Raven would be hesitant at times, like she is now, but that didn't necessarily mean she didn't want to. She trusted her companion completely and she was wanting to express and show her love to him just as he was willing to do for her. A small smile appeared as her voice held a playful, but firm tone.

"Besides the top of the car seems rather silly and impracticable, and I refuse to be in the back of a car."

Easily she slid off his lap, and the car, reaching out for his hand and dragging him off the car with her. Kicking off her heels, her eyes closed as she enjoyed the feeling of her feet touching the ground, those particular shoes were starting to ache. Still holding onto his hand she took a step forward and turned around to take another look upon the city's skyline. It was rather beautiful being up here, alone, away from their life below. Turning around she looked upon her mate, pulling him closer towards her, as the silver moon's light caused her pale and marred skin to glow, her amorously gaze met with a longing and loving smile. Her soft voice is the only thing that brakes this serene moment.

"I love you Tobias Cain, no matter what you do, I will always love you."

She wasn't the only one giving herself away...he was also giving himself to her. Always she recognized what others would forget or do not see. This side of him was going to be giving himself all to her, and her alone, and she would cherish that for as long as she lived. There was a reason why this side of himself was out for as long lasting as it was tonight. He needed to know she accepted him, faults and all, no matter which side showed up. Blue-grey eyes lovingly looked into his own golden-black eyes, waiting so patiently, as always.
