West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Abigail seemed all too excited about the birthday celebration and the emotion was contagious. Alexis actually found herself looking forward to whatever Abigail had planned. She'd never done anything like this before so to have someone make her a cake and buy her something just seemed exuberant and unheard of. She didn't feel deserving. Abigail assured her that she could have whatever kind of cake she wanted and Alexis' brows furrowed thoughtfully before she shrugged with a sheepish expression.

"I'VE NEVER HAD CAKE BEFORE SO I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT I LIKE. SURPRISE ME?"

She wondered if that was an acceptable answer. Surely Abigail could go off of what she liked in cake or try something new. Alexis didn't even care if the cake wasn't something she ended up liking. The whole idea of someone going to the trouble of baking for her seemed extravagant. She was beside herself and knew she would love the gesture no matter what. The subject moved to books and reading then and Alexis was totally intrigued. Compared to what she was used to, Abigail's background was a dream come true. Schools and college! It just sounded like a good book, itself. Abigail explained that she was in college now and on winter break. Alexis didn't really understand what that meant but it sounded pretty grand anyway! She smiled.

"I'M SURE YOU'LL BE AMAZING, ABIGAIL."

She reassured her, wanting her to finish what she had started and go to college. Alexis would give her left arm for such an experience and she was sure Abigail would only regret it if she didn't go. She wanted to hear all the stories of doing such an amazing thing. Abigail suddenly looked nervous, something Alexis never thought she would see. She said something about the colleges being big with lots of people and she wondered if Abigail had the same claustrophobia she did of large groups of people touching her. She seemed so outgoing.

"DON'T THINK OF THEM AS PEOPLE. THINK OF THEM AS POTENTIAL FRIENDS!"

She hoped this would make it more agreeable to Abigail. Maybe if she just went in expecting to make a lot of friends, she would feel less nervous about it. Alexis told her that she would introduce her to Raven and wondered how they would get along. Abigail seemed like she would get along with just about anyone but Raven was so mysterious and quiet that Alexis wondered if she would be overwhelmed. Surely they would get along fine, right? Abigail's parents sounded like wonderful people and her smile warmed when Abigail nodded in agreement. Alexis could see the adoration in her eyes when she spoke or thought of her parents. Their love and care for her showed in her expression. It gave Alexis hope. She didn't have that much hope for her prowess in making coffee, however. She assured Abigail that she wouldn't like it and Abigail, not to be discouraged, told her to get Alexander to show her to make it. Alexis smirked a little, wondering how that conversation would go. Even Alexander would probably be cautious about letting her around a machine that can work with piping hot liquids.

Even so, she didn't want to put a damper on Abigail's mood so she nodded.

"YES, IT WOULD."
