West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

If it had been another person the introverted woman would have taken in delight at seeing such a comical reaction. Yet with her short time with this particular male, reaction to actions was everything to him and she had to be careful on how she reacted around him. Surely laughing at his plight wouldn't be the wisest things to do in front of him. So, she refrained from any sort of giggle or smile only forcing her jaw clenched as she remained as stone faced as she could be with concern in her eyes. Even though she was learning how to trust him she was still not able to be comfortable around him, even in this moment as he sat their within the shadows clearly frightened. Unsure with how to calm him down, much less explain that he wasn't attacked, she assumed it was best just to be honest about it and not sugar coat it. As his dark eyes sliced towards the direction of the popped balloon, her own eyes would follow until she heard his disapproving huff. Providing him with a promise, a simple thing so coveted to her, following it with a sign that sealed the deal she moved back slowly flinching as he shoved past her. Her lithe frame hardly a match to his skinny, yet firm towering frame as her left side slammed into the wall causing a few of the crates to fall. Rubbing her sore arm her head would tilt downwards slightly, a habit of hers when someone snapped at her with transparent disparagement.

It was a rather difficult habit to break, but it would be something she would have to work on, on another date. Seeing the boy start to touch his sticky dark locks only caused her to frown with disappointment. If he continued to do such a thing it was going to provide the task a much difficult thing to handle. Ignoring his intense dislike of water she was tempted to explain she wasn't going to outright drown him. The first time they met on the docks she noticed that brief wary look he gave to the dark waters below when the floor underneath them began to break open, causing them to leap to safety. When she was injured in the park he had literally dragged her away from the harmless banks of the babbling brook, content to keep her away from the water source so he could lick her wounds clean. As he brought his hands out for her to inspect, she would gingerly grab one leading him towards the sink. As he adamantly attempted to get out of his sticky situation, pun indeed intended, she would not concede to his wishes. Although she was a shy creature she could be stubborn when she needed to be. If indeed he continued to have the mess in his hair then he would have to get it all cut out, which would be a shame. He did after all look good with his dark long hair. Pulling some of her own golden curls out from her eyes, she would stand on the tips of her toes, reaching valiantly for the cabinets, opening it as her scarred arm stretched as far as it could her fingers briefly touching a bowl. As she stretched herself in this position her faded black shirt would rise up slightly revealing a bit of colored skin along her ribs. Managing to grab the bowl she would fall back to the sole of her feet, turning the sink on as she grabbed the dishwashing soap nearby, dropping its contents, as her head would turn to face him.

"I never said I was going to cut your hair. Besides...you look better with long hair."

Those last words caused her cheeks to once again flare up with that dark pink shade. Her head would whirl around, facing the sink as her curly golden locks would hide her face from him. That she admitted a private thought in regards to what she liked in his looks caused the woman to mentally slap herself for admitting such a thing. Grabbing a wash cloth from the side drawer of the countertop, she would drop it into the bowl, turning the sink off as she headed for the kitchen table placing the bowl down. Reaching for the wet towel she would wring it tightly allowing the excess water to drop back into the bowl. The water the perfect temperature, warm and inviting, and hopefully soothing to the boy. Turning her head once more she would gesture for him to sit in the chair beside her at the table. Seeing as she had caught some sort of interest, she gave him an inviting grin, providing him the same deal, but with a better prize seeing that nothing could possibly go wrong, as she made her promise cross once more.

"I'll do your hands and I won't cut your hair, but if you let me do your hair too... I'll do three things you want, at any time you ask, promise."

She is sure she will win this and get him to do as she asks. Besides, if she was to sleep tonight beside him in his hammock, at least she could lie there awake terrified of him than being terrified of getting his sticky hair caught in her own.
