West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

As he launched forward, intent on catching the other in this silly game of chase, the other feline surged forward. For a moment, it took Henry a good bit of time to find the coordination to run. He had just mastered a light jog, but this gate was different. Not only did he have to master the gate, but he had to figure out how to coordinate his legs to jump over the same fallen logs. He was not about slam face first into the foliage. He had given the other plenty of other things to laugh at and he was not ready to give him another reason to doubt him. Henry wanted to learn and to learned he had to earn respect.

So with each swift turn and each log soared over, Henry grew more and more confident in how to maneuver his body like it was meant to. And when he finally caught up to the other panther, he could sense that he had stopped. His body was crouched and Henry slowed his pace, padding closer and joining beside him as they looked out into the clearing.

He could smell the rabbits and it caused him great distraction. Just as soon as he identified the smell, Tetradore was telling him exactly what the smell was. He looked towards him with a simply nod of his head to show his understanding. They were close and their scent was intoxicating. Ears flicked towards the sound of rustling bushes just as Tetradore offered him a deal: catch one rabbit and he could be finally be free of his feline form for today. Henry did not take any further encouragement. He was mentally exhausted after his long fight with himself and all he really wanted to do was wallow in self pity over sever several pints of beer.

He remained crouched, his legs slowly pulling him forward and towards where several rabbits were busy eating some of the foliage. Tail flicked lightly behind him as his focus was completely on the task at hand. And just when he thought he was close enough, he charged forward towards the rabbits. They took off and Henry began to chase them through the clearing, bending his body this way and that, trying to catch those blasted critters. They were terribly fast so it was no surprise that his first attempt was a failure. But Henry was not giving up.

He repeated this one, two, and a third time more before he was finally successful. When the rabbit was finally dead, he picked up the rabbit between his jaws and carried it back to where Tetradore was still waiting. He dropped it at the male's feet. "I don't like killing..." His voice was soft, almost timid even as he came to rest beside the other. Perhaps it was because he had mauled his boyfriend that he didn't like the destructive side to his animal half. While hunting was natural...he couldn't do such without thinking about Sterling and how his hunting instincts had gotten the best of him. Perhaps his love of hunting would grow on him in time. Perhaps he would enjoy hunting as much as Malia. But today was not that day. Today he did not want to kill anymore.
