West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

In all her years of her young life never before did she think that anyone would take interest in her. After all there was nothing quite special about her. Within her own pack she was nothing more than a terrible dark secret, an embarrassment to their kind. Men were quite visual and there was nothing exquisite about her external appearance that would tease them and draw them in closer. Of course, Raven was only thinking of men that were accepted and normal in society. She never did assume that she would run into someone that was far from the ordinary, someone that was unique like her. How she had ensnared the man-child into her good graces she did not know. But she was truly grateful. If Tobias was like every other person then there wouldn't have been a chance for the two of them to be together, perhaps even be able to speak to one another. While Tobias wished he could assimilate and be like everyone else, Raven treasured the fact that he was nothing like anyone else. What he considered a flaw, she considered a strength. He was different and she loved that about him. What other girl would understand him? What other girl would tolerate his two sides?

Her cheeks remained a bright dark pink after seeing everything her mate had. Really there was no need for him to present himself like that, and she had a sneaky suspicion the boy was doing it on purpose. Yet she would not say anything. She knew already which battles needed to be had. She had just conquered the battle of the shower, and it would take more time and effort to overcome that war. She nodded eagerly in agreement to the title of his sweats, for indeed that is what they were. As her deviant mate was running amuck, dashing through the Ark at a crazy speed, the lupine women sighed softly. Indeed she loved him, even if he had moments of pure lunacy. Before he decided to run around, for whatever reason, she began to ponder on his words when he attempted to answer her question. Raven knew about Tobias looking for Tetradore, she knew they were together as children, but after that it all got murky. She didn't ask either men about their past and why they were not together. After all it wasn't her business. They would tell her if they wanted to or not. Besides she hardly told them everything about hers. As always he spoke in riddles, even when he didn't mean to, and so she would not push him any farther about it. Deciding she would attempt to solve it later.

Coming back from his sudden sprint she happily allowed him to rest his head in her lap, allowing him to calm himself down as his chest rapidly went up and down. The touch of his hand against her pained side did bring some pain, but slowly, eventually she felt it healing. Kissing him on the forehead and lips were what she considered quite a good show of thanks. She could feel his hand snake around and press against the back of her neck, allowing him to keep that hold without fear he would harm her, as the kiss deepened. Blue-grey eyes looked down to see his dark eyes, a small simper there on her pink lips as her cheeks flushed again, a bit embarrassed. Handing him the bracelet she watched him silently as he methodically went over and over with the strands, showing her how he braided them. Braiding was something all girls should learn in their young age, and yet, she did not, that opportunity wasn't given to her. As he handed her the bracelet expecting her to try, she nodded her head, taking it gently from his hand. Though she was quite uncertain with herself. With a voice filled with a half mixture of confidence and concern, she spoke up, at least giving it a shot.

"I shall give it a try, although I don't think I will be as nearly as good as you."

Long nimble fingers took the strands of the bracelet folding the strands as best as she could. Of course she messed up. Her scarred face went quite stoic as she focused solely on the strands. She would undo them and then try again, getting it right a few times and then messing up. While others gave up from trying or curse under their breath, Raven simply stayed quiet. When she got frustrated she breathed loudly through her nose for a moment, muttering softly under her breath as she continued, getting a bit better. The touch of her mate's long and agile fingers twisting and turning her hair was quite soothing, her eyes half-closed for a moment as she allowed him to play with her hair, even leaning her head in his direction to let him continue. No one had ever played with her hair like this before, it was rather comforting. When he would tug her braided hair she happily placed her lips against his own, enjoying these soft stolen kisses. The two were blissfully in their own little world, enjoying each other's company, the two of them innocently being close with one another. When he tugged on her new braided strand of hair she gleefully kissed him gently, her nose gently nuzzling his own in an all too sweet gesture. His stuttered, endearing words were enough to cause Raven to grow absolutely still. He was one that did not speak a whole lot or share his thoughts and emotions, not without her prying. Hearing him say those four words only caused her heart to swell up. Placing the half-finished, sloppy braided bracelet back into his special box of making things, she ran her fingers through his dark curls. Smiling, she shifted position, crawling around him and then on top of him, allowing herself to sit on top of him, as she lowered herself to kiss him deeply for a moment. Whispering softly, stormy blue eyes looked into his shining twin pools of obsidian, nuzzling him once more, as she pushed back some of his dark hair from his face.

"I love you too Tobi, I always will."
