West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

We were chasing the thunder inside the storm;

"Monster is such a loose term thrown around far too idly. I believe some actually deserve the title." She believed that whole heartedly and if Frost was as bad as everyone was telling her. She believed that her old pack alpha was truly a monster, while others idolized him out of some twisted respect or fear she didn't know. To her he would be a monster. Raven, was far from it. "I have confidence in that there are creatures that are called monsters who are simply misunderstood." She muttered almost contemplative. It was interesting how Raven spoke about the were-horse with such hatred and then in this moment, something that sounded an awful lot like sympathy for him. Maybe one day, in this convoluted world there would be peace? Or perhaps it was only doomed to fail until the finality of death took over. She wasn't sure. She wasn't even sure if she would be around to see it. The she-wolf had only had a glimpse of this world; with hardly enough time to live within in to truly understand. Mira knew somethings and perhaps in time she would finally have her answers, or maybe like life often did, she would be left with additional questions.

The term monster was a matter of opinion, much like what was deemed normal. Who was deemed a monster? While some might consider some a monster other may consider them strong. She simply nods her head in her response.

The leopard man answered her question about Tetra dying. He truly believed his words and yet there was obviously far more to this story. She was certain of this. "He is lucky he has you then." She smiles softly, but once again she was only left with far more queries than she started off with.

Tobi retorted saying he was too strong to get hurt. No one was ever too strong to get hurt, even she knew this but she decided it best to seal her mouth shut for now. It would be nothing but a losing battle and there was finally peace within the air. "Of course." She allowed sleeping felines lie tonight. Even though there was one hell of a loophole in his statement.

It was endearing seeing the unlikely couple interact. That swift but tender moment between Raven and Tobi ended as the man decided to take his leave. "Take care Tobi."

The whole concept of powers was still terribly new to her. Her once alpha possessed powers, she wondered if he could prevent those below them from finding those powers. If he were the only many who held power no one would dare to stand against him. She had heard the tales of powers and magic, had seen them wielded only by one (until Sacrosanct) and yet she didn't truly understand how common they actually were. The cruel man was often secretive in his dealings and wanted nothing more than to be seen as a god.

"There are so many with unique abilities, it is unlike anything I have ever seen." She admits truthfully in reference to those powers, as a sense of awe overwhelms her. Yet she doesn't say anymore on the matter, leaving more to contemplate.

Her lips quirk into an amused smile. "I am almost certain most would not bat an eye to a little nudity, considering what most of us are. But I can shift and find my way home." But as interesting as this place was, she knew she didn't want to overstay her welcome, at least not now. Perhaps another time, under better circumstances. Being wounded only made her appear weak and she didn't want to be surrounded by other predators with a weakness, as Tobias very tamely proved.

She paused. "If you are certain you are alright, I will leave. I truly appreciate your kindness, Raven. I didn't expect it." It would seem her list of IOU's with the members of this pack was growing larger and more significant by the minute. "Thank you." Her golden eyes peer at her with a warmness she wasn't sure she could find for her own kind. Oftentimes wolves were met with a hardness, an apprehensive glare, as she prepared for most kinds of hostility.

She paused peering at Raven with her golden gaze. "For what it's worth, you are no monster to me. Perhaps one day our paths with cross under better circumstances." She spotted a pen and paper that looked more like a prescription pad with some doodles on it. She scribbled her new number down on the paper, hopefully she still had the phone in case she ever decided to text or call. "For if you ever need some help or something." She smiled and that's all she said before the woman shifted into that shadowy wolf, feeling far more comfortable in this skin than in her human one. The blanket she had used to shield her nakedness out of politeness rather than modesty.

Mira slipped off into the night, her mind going over the events that had just transpired, including the massive ship housing a butt load of illegal but intriguing activity. Perhaps on better circumstances it would be considered fun. For now, she simply wanted to find her way back to the apartment she was staying at and rest so her body could mend.
