West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

All she wanted was the pain to stop. Nothing was working and she had no idea how to explain it to him. None of them understood. Attempting to show her pain she dug her hands into her head, whimpering softly, as her head continued to throb. At least she thought her mate didn't understand until he rushed back to their room. The sounds of him rummaging around was enough to tell her that he was up to something. She would lift her head upwards slightly noticing the white box with the red cross emblazed on it. There was a flicker of recognition that could be seen in her eyes. That red cross meant something quite significant. Flashes of her memories began to flicker, seeing herself using whatever items were stashed within the box to relive whatever pain she had. Eager for the box she waited as the boy began to pull random items out of the box. Raven had no idea what special tool would remedy the situation, but none of the items he gave her brought her any sense of seeing it would cure her. Grabbing the cold medicine she stared at it, setting it back down shaking her head. The heated water bottle was placed against her forehead and nothing happened. Mumbling under her breath she was becoming desperate, agitated, scared. The Baind-Aids brought a sense of curiosity as she titled her head to the side, watching as he began to place it on her forehead. Sadly nothing happened. Upset she ran away on all fours, not knowing what she was searching for, knowing only that she needed to do something...something.

In another time Raven would have appreciated her mate's effort in helping her when she was in pain. Most of the time she had to handle a cold or a headache herself. Sometimes even attempting to hide her discomfort if only so he wouldn't see her in distress. Ever since Frost had attacked her and she spent months attempting to recover she was a shell of her former self. Things were simply not going well for them, enough to where they had their first fight. Terrified that another one could occur she made every effort to hide whatever sort of discomfort or aliment she had simply so he wouldn't have to see her like it. Now though Raven didn't remember any of that. Right now all she cared about was making the pain go away and she had no clue as to where she could go to do that. Running away from him on all fours she was going to find something that would help her, but instead Jackal appeared out of nowhere. Upset and afraid she ran back to her mate, nearly having them collapse on the floor. Whimpering she buried herself into his arms, believing that if he could save her from the angry patrons downstairs then he could surely keep her safe from the little Mexican man. All she wanted was for the pain to stop. It was when they wanted her to move she went still, unmoving, until her mate lifted her upwards. Wrapping her arms gently around his neck, she buried her head into his chest, closing her mumbling softly.

"No...not...blue...red...red...yellow...pain....safe....safe."

It would seem that Raven was talking in code, when rather she was speaking quite clearly. Long ago she had explained to the boy emotions and how they could use colors to represent the emotions they were feeling. In this case Raven was sad, angry, and scared. All these emotions were bubbling within her cause her to be in such a terrible state. Being within their bedroom did bring a sense of calm to her. This was their place. Nothing bad could happen in here. This she knew deep down. As he placed her on the bed she quickly sat up straight, watching as the little Mexican man left their room. Incoherently she mumbled her words, grabbing her hands her fingers began to twist and turn, a habit she seemed to carry on. Blue-grey eyes shifted frantically as she looked around, unsure what was going to happen next. When he spoke up she turned to look at him, tilting her head to the side to see the toy sheep. Tentatively she took the toy, staring at it, not seeing it do anything. Yet before she could speak up and ask a question the little Mexican man came back in. She noticed he was holding some sort of thing in his hand. Her pink lips would pull back not wanting whatever it was he was holding. Shaking her head she scooted herself on the bed to the wall. It was when her mate told her to drink it, she nodded, hesitantly taking it. Drinking it she could feel something within her change once more, only this time everything that was once felt hazy disappeared. Instead she felt...exhausted and completely drained. Softly she muttered her voice still a bit fractured.

"Thank you Jackal..."

The throbbing ache she felt in her head was slowly ebbing away. Although it was going away she did not feel like doing much. Exhausted she began to lie herself down on the bed, getting herself comfortable. Her hand wouldn't gently reach for her mate's, tugging gently for him to join her. As soon as he lied down beside her, she curled herself to his side, nuzzling him gently and kissing his cheek. This time her voice seemed to have returned as she spoke sweetly, but firmly, her eyes holding his gaze until they simply closed.

"and Tobi...no more playing with the potions."
