West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Henry listened to her speak of the ark and wishing not to expose her children to the fighting. He could relate. He wasn't really into all the fighting and it made him stick out like a sore thumb. But after what he had done to Sterling, fighting was not something he was interested in participating in. "I don't blame you. Fighting and I don't mix either." He left it at that. There were very few people that knew what had happened to his boyfriend and he wanted to keep it that way. He wasn't proud of what happened and it certainly didn't make him want to celebrate the animal in him.

When Henry had been brought into his pack, he knew very little. He knew the members, he knew that they lived in a giant ship, and he knew they ran a fighting ring. Other than that, he was spared the details. It wasn't his choice to be were or join their pack. It was forced on him. Maybe one day he would accept what he was, but perhaps he would never truly fit in. Only time could tell these things.

Her words caught his attention about denying his animal half. Right now, that feline had done nothing but take away everything that truly mattered to him. There was no reason to be one with his cat. Nothing. But, despite how much Henry hated the fact that he was a were, he knew that he could not hurt anyone else like he had hurt Sterling. And that is why he had sought Tet out. It was the only thing that kept him coming back â€" the hope that he could spare others from the pain he had to feel. "I will never come to love or accept my cat...I can't...not after what he's done. But, I've vowed never to allow him to hurt anyone else again." Henry and his cat would come to a sort of understanding. He would never embrace it like many weres did, but he would find a way to control himself enough so no one else would get hurt.

It seemed like she and Raven both had their feral tendencies, much like he did. It didn't make him appreciate his cat even more, but it did make him more determined not to allow his cat to hurt anyone else. He listened silently, finishing off his own drink as she finished up her story. He knew she was trying to make him feel better, but he wasn't sure he would ever truly feel better. He appreciated the effort she took, though.

He watched her jot down her number, nodding softly. He wasn't sure if he would ever really need it, but he would add it into his contact list on his phone. You just never know when you might need that kind of information again. He watched her walk away before he placed some bills on the counter and stood to leave the bar. He had a lot of thinking to do and he certainly wasn't going to get it done here. And so, he slipped out of the bar and headed down to the beach to clear his head.
