West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Tobias was aware of that shift within the room, that distinctly animalistic part of himself responding readily to that tension that seemed to exist in the air and- more notable perhaps- seemed to line Tetradore's own frown. That gangly boy lingering to the side of the man, taking up a similar pose in that shameless mimic of the man he favoured above all and yet his inability to so properly understand that situation hardly saw him move from that place nor attempt any sort of words. His dark gaze shifted briefly from Tetradore, to Nadya and down to his own children, his features softening near instantly at the sight of them. That almost instinctive...gentleness seeming to overtake him in that moment, though he hardly moved towards them. Tobias distinctly....unsure of how best to approach those kittens. The boy eternally weary of Nadya in turn lest she decide to shout out him for doing something wrong. Her method of teaching and his own lacking patience so often resulting in those arguments that agitated all of them in turn. Tobias simple attempting to avoid that very thing and the stress that came with it. He so hardly understood the delicate balance of emotions that seemed to exist within that room of the precarious relationship between brother and sister. His own understanding of the entire situation limited simply to the fact that Nadya seemed to displease Tetradore and when Tetradore was displeased he sat within his room and often afforded Tobias himself little attention, often forgetting to save those scraps of food from his own dinner to let the boy have while refusing to play those video games with him. A state of being the boy was loath to allow his companion to exist within if only for the veritable suffering it cause Tobias in turn. Nadya's presence, thusly, so tangled within his mind with some level of displeasure even despite his enjoyment of seeing her once more. That boy content to take his cues from Tetradore alone.

The sudden appearance of Isabella toddling forward to throw her arms up to Tetradore with that single, garbled word saw his own head tilt in a clear curiosity. That young girl scooped into the emerald-eyed man's arms only to be passed to Tobias himself. For several moments at least the lanky young man simply stared at his daughter, that hand that reached up to tug at his hair seeing his features frown and yet that usual volatility that such a gesture might result in was notably lessened while the child remained in his arms. His lips lifting into something of a lopsided grin as he wandered away from both Nadya and Tetradore then. Tobias promptly seating himself on the floor beside his son, placing the girl down with her brother as his gaze followed the child's arms beneath that sofa. Hi own head tilted once more, his far longer arms reaching into that dark space to pluck that toy car from beneath it- one of his own treasured toys. Tobias seeming to consider whether or not he truly desired to share that toy with his son before at last placing it into those outstretched hands. For several moments longer he watched Micah bang that car on the floor and roll those wheels with his fingers before promptly putting that toy in his mouth. Tobias scowling before reaching to grasp it and pry it from the boys lips, that drool running from freely then as the young man made another face.

"You...made it.....wet."

Micah hardly seemed to care about the state of the car, Tobias placing it upon the floor, pushing it with his fingers before making several car sounds in some attempt to show the boy just how to use it. Isabella reaching out a moment later to smack her hand on it. Tobias merely content to watch now in some apparent acceptance that his children did not know how to play with cars, his head glancing upward at that mention of Henry and Frost, names he knew and responded too in some sense. The boy listening on some level even if he appeared not to be. Nadya's words seeing him frown slightly before he glanced away from that toy car.

"Henry.....likes us."

His head nodded as if he was sure of it. Tobias remembering the time spent with the man whom he'd shared those candies with, the boy looking towards Nadya before mimicking that shrug of Tetradore's shoulders and returning to his game with his children. The man ignoring that further exchange until that piece of paper was produced, his gaze following it, his mind so attempting to understand those words. Contract decidedly outside his ability to process. The boy continuing to watch silently as that paper was placed aside, Tetradore simply telling the woman to go back home. Tobias stood near abruptly then, that gesture seeming to startle the children in turn, one hand reaching down to touch Micah's head and soothe him some, those actions surprisingly....purposeful as the boy strode across the room to that desk, his head glancing down at that paper as if he could read it. The boy seeming almost as if he was contemplating it, those words coming then as he continued to look at the paper.

"Frost is not his real name. Can't be. No. No. Not a real contract without a real name."

That this was a surprisingly fluid sentence was surely clear, several of those words still repeated and yet that sentence was...whole. Logical. Sensible and offered almost clearly. His gaze turned to Tetradore then before moving to Nadya.

"Tet can meet with him. Tell Frost that."
