West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

His own dark gaze continued to linger upon his oldest companion then, Tobias largely oblivious to those internal thoughts his garbled words seemed to have prompted within the man. The spotted deviant unaware, or in the very least, unable to comprehend the consideration Matteo's name seemed to have prompted within his brother and the very emotions that stirred beneath the surface. Tobias so applying that look of thoughtfulness instead to the notion that he had eaten that present meant for them both. The deviant momentarily sheepish in his admission that he had surely saved him some. Though as to what condition it would be in by the time Tetradore received it second-hand from Tobias was a highly debatable facet all the same. The emerald-eyed Alpha's assurance that Matteo should have just brought more if he'd known Tobias would eat it was met with a veritable blank stare. That shaggy haired deviant was barely capable of existing within the present, any ability to understand the affinity of another being for events that had not yet happened were hardly within his mind to comprehend- nor did he care too. Tobias very much a being of the present, of here and now, his capability of remembering the past or anticipating the future decidedly limited as it was. That lanky leopard very much a being of instant gratification with near no desire to display patience unless utterly forced upon him to do so. Tetradore's words merely responded to with that singular glance and yet it was surely abundantly clear that he had entirely failed to understand the man at all. That query as to it being 'good candy' however saw that devilish grin return to Tobias' features as his head nodded.

"Yes. It was....maybe the best.....ever....in the whole......world."

That this was not decidedly helpful in the situation had not occurred to him. The boy continuing to grin before that request to drive backwards just like Tetra did seemed to steal the boys concentration away. Tobias displaying a near perfect affinity for piloting that car backwards while appearing to show nearly no talent whatsoever for going forwards. How typical. The deviant effortlessly steering that car about the track with his head turning occasionally to look out of the window before his eyes returned to those mirrors to continue that reverse navigation. The young man decidedly pleased with himself as he drew that car to a stop. That request to continue their evening with those video games and treats readily seeing that grin return with the promise of what was to come once they returned home. Tobias truly valuing those nights they might shut the door to Tetradore's room and simply play with those games for hours before one or both fell asleep on that bed with those controllers and candy wrappers strewn around them. His attention shifted then to that luggage ramp left waiting and wanting upon that tarmac as one hand lifted to point to it was that request to see whether or not they might drive backwards over it.

Tetradore's utterance that they would surely crush it only seemed to delight the boy further, crushing it and leaping of it surely equally fun as his foot slammed back down on that accelerator well before his companion could protest it. That cuss that left Tetra's lips hardly stealing a glance from the deviant as he swung that car around to reverse up and over that luggage ramp- the car readily airborne even as one side of the ramp collapsed, unbalancing that vehicle and surely contributing to that crash landing as Tetradore frantically clutched at that door. The both of them were thrown forward as that car whirled out of control, those seatbelts surely all that prevented them flying through that windshield entirely as Tobias finally pressed his foot to that break, the car screeching and jerking to a halt as his own arms were thrown upward in that clear delight.

"Jesus...Christ."

Those words were simply repeated back at the other man. Tobias hardly understanding their meaning, rather they were new words, words he had decided he liked the sound of and remained content to repeat for several moments before that declaration this was enough driving for tonight prompted that nod from him. Tobias, for once, apparently willing to accept that announcement as that engine was shut off and those keys handed back to his companion then. That moment of silence hardly destined to last long as he shifted within his seat in some display of the effort it took to muster those words and force them from his lips. Tetradore's name uttered then, drawing the other man's attention before that hand reached out to rest upon his arm in some display of affection, rare though it was between the pair. That request of sorts finally uttered as the elder man snorted in response, querying just who else Tobias had been ever going to ask to be his best man. Tetradore clearly having (rightfully so) anticipated that role already. The boy seeming to contemplate that question as if his companion truly expected an answer before shaking his head, that grin back upon his lips.

"Only....Tetra. I only.....like...Tetra."

That, in the least, was certainly true. He had only ever contemplated asking Tetradore. Tobias seeming to largely dislike anyone and everyone else. Those he did not outwardly disdain he merely ignored or tolerated. His adopted brother the only being the man truly liked outside of his own mate. He shifted easily from that seat then, sliding out of the car to let his chosen Alpha slide over and take the driver's seat. Tobias settling himself within the passenger seat for the ride home, the very seat the boy had deemed so long ago would always be his own in any car Tetradore drove. That ride home was significantly less eventful then his own driving attempts, the car no sooner having pulled back into its place amongst their collection within that ship then the boy near hurried out of it to race upstairs with Tetradore in tow. Tobias already pilfering through that stack of games for the ones he wanted to play tonight, several of those top choices placed upon the bed to wait for his companion's final selection. That panther returned a few moments later with those bowls of promised ice cream as Tobias finished readying that PlayStation to take his seat upon the bed- that controller within his lap, the second on passed to Tetra as he found his place beside him.

This, Tobias was sure, the very sort of evening that made him happier then any other.
