West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

That insistence that her mentor certainly didn't deserve peace, whilst also demanding he hurried up and walked into that proverbial light. She was well aware of how those two ideas contradicted and yet, it amused her all the same if only because she could hardly disagree with the sentiment. A soft chuckle left her lips as the young woman nodded simply. "I know what you mean." She muttered in response, shaking her head ever so slightly before she turned upon her heels, demanding without a glimpse of hesitation for her companion's clothes. Serafina hardly attempted to hide the fashion that her gaze lingered upon that skin that was revealed from the peeling of that wet clothing from his frame. Those muscles were far more prominent then she remembered them being and yet, she was hardly ignorant of those marks that too marred his skin in ways they once had not. How...interesting. He was damn near as undeniable as she remembered him to be, even after all those years. With that swagger and confidence that seemed to exude from him and those steely blue eyes that so threatened to engulf her. In some ways, nothing had changed, and in others? In others, whatever they had was now long gone. It was that singular thought that prompted the woman into action, Serafina easily bent down to sweep those wet clothes off the floor and into her arms, relying on that simple act of doing to keep her preoccupied from placing her hands in places they shouldn't go.

The girl wandered through that hallway, tossing those clothes in the washer before disappearing into the safe depths of her own room. She was only just beginning to remove that clothing upon her own frame before a rather familiar sound of creaking stairs drew her attention. She could feel the weight of those eyes upon her as that first article of clothing hit the floor, the woman tugging those pants from her hips before that jeaned material too fell to the floor to reveal those long legs. That innuendo, however, only briefly tugged at her attention before that naked flesh was hidden beneath oversized pajamas that hid those more sensual curves. Those teasing words were brushed off with a chilling sort of ease, even though Serafina could hardly deny that a part of her wanted to hear more. For so long, he was all that she had wanted, all that she had cared for. It would have been so easy to simply fall into his embrace and forget everyone and everything else and yet...and yet...Azrael had do so much for her thus far. That effort he'd put into what she had thought was an impossible relationship had hardly gone unnoticed even if it was uncommented on - was it not her turn to do much the same? Even if he would never know of that temptation that she resisted. How this pained her.

That comment of the cold was answered abruptly with the mention of the fireplace down stairs and some sort of heated beverage, the woman's slender physique easily side stepped Brennan's reach. She glanced behind her at man, instead mentioning of tea or coffee only to find that almost defeated frown that tugged at the corners of those once roguish lips. God, he had no idea the effect he still had upon her. How she wanted to reach out to him, to turn that grimace into something else entirely. Her fingers toyed with the hem of that shirt she wore, attempting to get her thoughts under control whilst that devil on her shoulder so sweetly whispered that, surely, she could have both of them, couldn't she? She was bad at this...relationship thing. When did she start actually caring for those men? How had they coaxed so much within the usually aloof vixen? That frustrated sigh from his lips caused a frown to flutter upon her own. She shouldn't have been surprised by that order, really, booze had always been Brennan's fault. How long had it been since he'd had such an indulgent sort of drink? "Did....that place you went have coffee makers? Or whiskey?" She wondered out loud, the girl still making some effort to keep them from falling in that bed that she knew they could.

She turned, leading the way back down those stairs and towards the kitchen. "Make the fire for me, will you, Brennan?" She inquired, glancing behind her as she moved to put together that very drink he so desired. Even despite her decision, and following attempts to remain true to Azrael, she still couldn't help that simple desire to offer Brennan something. After all, she never thought she'd see the man again, much less discover that, even after all this time, he had remained true to her. Emotions were so hard. Serafina was almost content to stare at that coffee maker, that pensive, disgruntled look upon her features all the same as that coffee brewed. It was only once that light changed colors to note the coffee's completion that Serafina saw fit to move from that spot within her kitchen. Those limited ingredients to that beverage were easily poured into a cup for her company, the drink as stiff as she still remembered Brennan to like them. Her own coffee was rather absent of that touch of liquor, instead lightened with cream and sweetened with sugar and yet, she hardly trusted herself with lowered inhibitions anymore then she trusted herself with all of them in place. She grasped those cups by the handle, slowly making her way towards the living room, entirely careful not to spill even a drop before she handed that cup towards him. "I missed you, you know." She stated in a quite abrupt fashion. "I cried when you left....don't make me do that again, I don't like it." It was a decidedly rare touch of vulnerableness that she allowed him to get even a glimpse of before the girl curled up in her sofa, that cup of coffee placed within her hands. Her stormy eyes remained settled upon him all the same, the young woman hardly willing to allow him a chance to turn her any more mushy than she already was. "So...what happened?"
