West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

TRYING NOT TO WASTE MY TIME

Benjamin hadn't had many pets growing up, not in the way that every single one of his schoolmates had seemed to have had animals. I mean, they had everything, he even met one kid that had like fifty cows! Turns out his parents owned a cattle ranch, which explained it. But still, almost every kid he knew while growing up at least had a cat or a dog, or even one of each. That was not the case for Benjamin. He had a goldfish that he won at a street fair. The young Benji had carried that fish home in its plastic bag, excited to finally have a pet of his very own. He had named it Richard, after the King in one of of Shakespeare's history plays, the king that had gone crazy. Benjamin's mother hadn't been able to afford many books when he had been a boy, but she did have Shakespeare's entire collection, so instead of 'The Hungry, Hungry Caterpillar,' Benjamin was read Kign Lear, and instead of 'Green Eggs and Ham,' he got Macbeth. But the beauty of being a child, Benji hadn't noticed the difference. So he deemed his fish, King Richard and with as much pride as a young child can have, he carried that fish all the way home. But that fish lasted a few months at most. Not due to any lack of care on the young boy's fault. He fed that fish every day, cleaned Richard's little fish bowl, even read to him little books he brought home from school.

But one day, his mother was having one of her episodes and she deemed that his fish was dead and needed t go to fishy heaven aka the toilet bowl. Benji (the child who never cried) held back any tears he felt coming and said, in his calmest voice possible that his fish was not dead, in fact it was still swimming. But his mother wouldn't hear of it and she flushed it down to fishy heaven. Not even letting him say goodbye.

He loved his mother with all his heart, the boy with the dark locks and amber eyes did, but when she had those episodes few and far between, Benjamin didn't know what to think anymore.

The young man bends down and instantly the puppy jumps on him, licking his face his hands, whatever skin she could find. Despite himself, he finds himself laughing at the little pup. But the moment he hears someone talking he brushes off the laughter and returns to a more serious demeanor. A girl appears before him and he wonders why he hadn't noticed her until now, but the thought is fleeting as she speaks of how dogs were often dumped here. A small crooked smile touches his lips as she mentions that the puppy seemed fond of him. "You think?" He asks, trying to keep the excitement out of his voice. He looks to the woman he had showed up beside him. "Why would someone abandon a puppy?" He asks, though the same could be asked for someone abandoning a child, which Benji still has no answer to that either. "Oh, I'm Benjamin by the way," he says extending his hand as the puppy continues to jump up playfully. Amber eyes fall back down the dog of red and white. "She is pretty cute," he says before looking to the woman once more. "What brings you to this part of town?"
