West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Truthfully, Henry wasn't exactly keen on the idea to poke the bear. He had tried very hard to get his feral side in check, to keep him from hurting other people. And yet, here he was sitting in a park intentionally trying to poke the bear. He silently wished that Tetradore were here just in case something bad were to happen. He didn't want to hurt anyone else. Seeing his lover's blood spewed across the room was horrific and it definitely did not make him feel easy. He did not want to do that again...not to anyone.

When Raven spoke, asking him about what happened when he went feral, his eyes immediately fell to the ground. He was embarrassed about what had happened...embarrassed that he could not control himself. He didn't want to tell Raven the most intimate secrets of his life, but he knew that the only way his pack would trust him was if he had full disclosure with them.

He heaved a heavy sigh, his eyes slowly looking upward to meet her own. "I don't remember anything that happens when I shift, but before I shifted the first time, I was home. My boyfriend was home and he was trying to take care of me because I was feeling very ill. He said that after I shifted, I ran out onto the balcony and into the woods." While he didn't understand exactly what happened during his shift, Sterling had at least given him an idea. "He found me the next morning passed out naked on the steps of our apartment building. I don't remember what happened." He supposed at least he had come home. No matter what happened when he shifted, at least he had come home.

He felt the mood grow solemn as he thought about the second time he shifted. It was far less innocent than before and he had done far too much damage. "The second time was far more destructive..." His voice quivered as he thought about just what had happened. It was hard to think about and really hard to talk about. It took Henry a very long few moments before he was able to speak. "It was our anniversary and I had taken my boyfriend on a private yacht trip. I was in denial about being a were...despite what he had told me. I didn't think about the full moon." He had to choke back tears, a testament to just how terrible the encounter had been. "We hadn't slept together since our memories came back...long story." He paused a moment. "We were in the middle of making love and I shifted right on top of him..." He couldn't hold back the tears and he had to look away.

It took him several long moments before he was able to compose himself enough to continue. Reliving this horrible memory was hard for Henry and it wasn't something he liked doing. "I woke up the next morning to a massacre. Blood was everywhere...too much to be one person. Sterling was locked in the bathroom barely breathing." He remembered the way he scooped Sterling up in his arms and tried to at least cover the man. He remembered the ambulance taking him away and he remembered thinking that the love of his life was dead. "I don't remember what happened...but Sterling said I just started attacking him. He says that I was scared, that the first time I was able to run away but that time, I was in a locked room with no where to run." He wished he could remember details. Even the times that Tetradore drew out his shifts, he still didn't remember what happened. It was a horrible curse to shift into an animal he couldn't control...and not to be able to remember what happened.
