West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

She tilted her head as she listened to Nadya explain a feral period. She could understand it, but at the same time, she was dumbfounded. "Why would you chose to be on nothing but instinct? I guess you could say I sort of grew out of mine. I worked on instinct when was I young but as I matured, I learned that I had intelligence the other coyotes lacked. I evolved from it, honed it and used it to hunt better, fight better, survive better." Nadya explained why a few seconds later, saying she was depressed. Malia's face fell, her gaze softening with understanding. "Why couldn't they stay there? Did Tetradore say so?" Her eyes burned with anguish at the very thought of separating a mother from her children. If he was responsible, she would so give him a piece of her mind for Nadya. When the panther nudged her shoulder playfully, she smiled, her tail wagging at the friendly gesture. If only her former pack could see her now, bumping shoulders with a panther! Nadya assured her she was happy now and Malia nodded in acknowledgment, though she still wanted Tetradore to do some explaining next time she saw him. So he can hang out with someone he knows is in another pack but he could tell her not to hang out with Frost? What a hypocrite.

She was surprised that Nadya would want to hunt with her. In a lot of ways, Malia still thought like an animal so she figured she would just be in the way. Nadya assured her that as Were's, they learned to hunt in packs no matter what species, pointing out that she was smaller and therefore could be more quiet when stalking the prey. Malia nodded in agreement. "Okay, sounds like a plan. Let me know next time you plan on going on and we'll see how it goes." She was a little excited now. She wondered what kind of prey Nadya would choose for them. She wondered if it would be anything like the fight she and Tetradore had with the bear in the woods. Nadya was still trying to explain the whole dating scene but Malia was confused. So Frost chased her everywhere and that was okay for them but apparently Malia didn't want that. But Nadya pointed out that she shouldn't chase the guy either cause that was bad. Her ears flicked back in puzzlement.

She sighed. "Okay, so just let whatever happens happen and be careful?" She wondered if that was a little closer. She asked about her relationship with this Tobias and Nadya explained that their powers clashed. Malia's eyes widened. They can do that? Could she end up sleeping with someone she didn't like and get pregnant too then? Wow, Nadya really meant it when she said to be careful. Malia swallowed. Nadya told her that it was too late by the time she found out and she couldn't get rid of them. She scowled, her brows furrowed. "Get rid of them? Like in a bag or something? I could see how that could be an issue." Nadya made a chuckling noise, well as close to one as you could get in panther form, before telling her that sex was fun and that it was called sex. Malia scowled but nodded. Okay, so don't call it mating. She said the wet stuff didn't need a name and Malia was okay with that. She didn't like the name Henry gave her female part anyway. She probably wouldn't like that one either.

Then she explained about these pills that make it where you can't get pregnant. Malia's eyes widened. Humans and their technology. It dumbfounded her sometimes. There was even one Nadya could have taken and she assumed this must have been more what Nadya was talking about when she said she couldn't get rid of them. Her eyes softened at that. She brought something that covered a man's part and Malia snorted in disbelief. "I don't see how that would fit right. They grow! I'm sure you know that, though. Unless some of them don't?" She was curious. They were getting closer to the house but Malia didn't mind if Frost was there or not. She wasn't a private person really, though she could tell that he wasn't close by with her own pack bond. Nadya seemed interested in the guy she was talking about though. She asked where Malia met him ad she offered a sheepish smile. Okay, answer honestly without giving anything away, maybe? If it came out, it came out. She pouted when Nadya said no alcohol though. "Ah, it's so fun though! Fine, no alcohol. Um, well, I first met him in the woods. He was shifted. He was boring then, all strict and no fun at all. But then I met him at the bar in human form. He was much more fun then. He bought me drinks and took me to a car race!" She didn't know how many guys liked car races or if Nadya would pick it up from those few hints who she was talking about but if she did, she did.

Nadya felt that maybe she shouldn't try to hide it. She wanted to be honest with Nadya. Besides, the Were hint and then the car races might be all Nadya needed to fit the pieces together. Malia sighed. "Okay, I give. I kinda sorta...like Tetradore." She averted her gaze, though kept watching Nadya out of the corner of her eye, not sure how Nadya might react. She could tell she still loved and cared about her brother. It wasn't like she hated his guts. She just didn't feel like he'd handled the Frost situation as well as it should have and Malia could understand that. She didn't get it either. Tetradore should have been happy for her and Frost, not trying to keep them apart.
