West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

West

Donovan caught the glimpse of a few shines in the corner of his eyes. Weapons; She was carrying and it was obvious why.
Thankfully he wouldn't have to worry about meeting the end of one of those sharp blades.
Though he felt he had spilled to much info, but then again, this situation called for it. He had to play it cool and he felt that she would understand, and she did.
Now for the difficult part; Revealing his past.
It was true that he had did have a criminal past due to his life on the streets. But he was setup.
He took a deep sigh and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed.
With his eyes shut he started to recall the fateful day, and began speaking to Kat.

"Yeah... I have a history. One I'm not too proud of.
Couple years ago, I was looking for my big break â€" That moment that I could get off the streets and into a place of my own instead having to hide in the back of an ally under a covered space on a cot."
Donovan started to explain as he open his eyes and looked up to the brick wall with a blank stare upon his face.
"I had overheard a wealthy commissioner was going to be in my old town. He was notorious for being a bit of stickler with his money and not using it to help the city.
I wanted to get back at him for leaving the people high and dry. And the best way to do that was to steal from him. Maybe even hurt him if I could."
He felt a huge weight fall onto his chest, and his eyes grow heavy.

"So I took the one shot that I had. He was at a gala event to explain his plans for the city. And I had one window to get his wallet..
And you better believe I had him where I wanted him. I knocked him out by pinching the nerve cluster in his neck.
I had everything going for me, until the one unexpected guard caught me. The cops were called and I was heading right for jail.."
Donovan gulped and closed his eyes again and sighed. This was a hard moment for him, but he knew he as to explain himself.
"So once I was up on trial, I was told that I was getting a plea bargain. Not that I had spoken to my lawyer, but apparently I'd have to keep my crime on my record for years, in exchange for my freedom...
And I saw a man in the back of court room. Wearing a cowboy hat and a trench coat. The same man that stopped me from mugging a man the first night on the streets... He was the one who got me the bargain. I know it.
So there Kat. My story is out..."
Donovan started with a heavy sigh, as he lifted his head up and open his eyes.

Till this day, he still wondered were that cowboy was. If he was still following him, and watching him. Making sure he wasn't trying to hurt people.. Yeah, there were times were Donovan had mugged people and gotten money. Other times, that man appeared and talked him out of it and gave him money.
He chuckled and cracked a smile as he turned to Kat swiftly and kept the expression on his face.
He didn't forget that offer she made him for drinks. He was open to telling her about his turning. Hell, maybe he'd even get a job offer from her if things went right.
"So.. That drink offer still good?"
