West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

There was a certain sort of pleasure to be found in that gift of photographs, simple though it was. How precious those memories could be. After all, he so often found himself lacking his own memories in a way. Some fraction of thought missing or weak or faded or blurred. Those memories existing and yet often not tangible. As if he could see them through a veil of sorts alone. As if he could never quite grasp them. Tobias often unsure if they were his memories or the others. Whatever fractured mind they shared, sometimes, seemingly unable to store both their memories correctly resulting in some blur of confusion in shared snapshots between them both that he suspected neither of them understood very well. Those photographs that had been taken today however were a memento of sorts for them both. Pictures to allow Raven to show her friends, pictures she could hang on the wall or display in their room and not be ashamed to do so. Those very images a reminder of sorts for himself in turn. Some image of him existing even when he was hardly present to admire it himself. There was something satisfying in that. Some part of him refusing to be forgotten all the same even if he knew, truly, that Raven meant it entirely when she said she loved them both. He was given so little time in comparison to that other side of himself and yet why that was so he might never understand and hardly cared to waste the presence of mind to consider. If he was destined to be a silent watchman of sorts then so be it. Some things could not be changed. The soft thanks of the woman met with a simple nod, that smile on his own lips then.

His hand fitted easily with her own, Tobias content to lead her from the store with that package of photographs in tow and her original clothing bundled underneath his arm within another bag to take home. He shortened his own lengthy stride as he walked, keeping time with the woman's shorter step before allowing that bright golden gaze to find her own again, that query of just where they were getting married upon his lips. It hardly mattered to him, truly, just where she might choose. Tobias very much of the opinion that while it was surely their day- it was very much her own. It was traditional for the woman to make those choices. Tobias hardly attempting to press those feminine roles upon her and yet for himself he hardly found he minded the location at all. The boy content to follow her lead. That surprise finding his features as she admitted she had given the idea of where very little thought other than somewhere not a church and not the beach if only because she hardly wanted sand in everything. A logical concern, really. That query as to what he might like catching him off guard. Tobias hardly having anticipated being asked.

"Hmm."

The Ark itself, despite being their home, was largely unsuitable if only because it seemed unlikely anyone, even their guests, would want to see them get married in a blood-stained fighting ring. It was hardly exactly romantic. Tobias's head tilting slightly in that thought as he continued to stroll, his hand still within her own.

"We could go to the gardens in the East?"

They were a little expensive, he supposed and yet they were clean, pretty, close enough for everyone to travel to and with those gazebos if it should happen to rain. The man glancing towards his fiancé then to see her thoughts on the idea before that question as to whether she wanted anything else while they were here saw her pause on the top step. Raven looking almost delighted about being taller than him as his eyes rolled lightly. It was rare, in any sense, for anyone to ever be taller than him. His eyes lifting slightly at the mention of a ring.

"Because I'm me? What does that mean?"

That amusement so easily laced those words then. Tobias chuckling softly before allowing the woman to lead him across that second floor and towards the ring store, that look she offered him as they passed that baby store hardly missed. Tobias frowning slightly as he glanced between the store and his fiancé and back again. Did she....want children? Was that a conversation they needed to have? Had she ever discussed it with his other half? Was the other half even capable? Those words coming to his lips then.

"Have we ever discussed having....a family?"

It was, perhaps, not ideal timing for that question. Tobias pulled into that jewellery store a moment later. The choices utterly astounding as his eyes widened. Those silver rings easily ignored as she queried what he did or didn't want.

"Not gold, it's just....not me and he might very well lose it. Maybe some sort of platinum?"
