West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The last thing that Henry wanted was to hurt Sterling again. Just thinking about shifting with Sterling in the room gave him extreme anxiety. He didn't want Sterling anywhere near him when he shifted. The likelihood that Sterling would get injured was far higher with him in the room versus him safe at their home.

That said, when Tetradore came up and grabbed his jaw, his eyes rested on Tetradore's own. He listened, a little thankful that he wouldn't let Sterling get hurt. If anything happened to Sterling while he was in his panther form, he would never be able to forgive himself. He honestly wouldn't be surprised if Sterling didn't forgive him either.

His words about having to start being true to himself struck him hard. He liked to think that he was true to himself, that simply not denying that he was a were was all there was to it. But he understood where Tetradore was coming from. He didn't just mean accept himself - he meant truly accepting who he is and sharing that part of himself with his boyfriend. That was something Henry hadn't been able to do yet. He hadn't been able to let Sterling see all of him.

He sighed softly as he quietly contemplated his alpha's words. He knew them to be true...but he still hated what they meant. "I want nothing more than to be able to be my whole self in front of him...but I don't trust myself. I could never forgive myself if something happened to him." The love he felt for Sterling kept him from wanting Sterling to be anywhere near him when he shifted. If he had to be honest with himself, if he ever hurt his boyfriend again...he could not see himself continuing to live. It was a hard pill to swallow, but perhaps it was for the best.

He sighed as he relaxed against the man's desk. He was still struggling with the idea that he would have to put his complete trust in Tetradore for this to work. Did he trust the man? He'd never done anything to intentionally break his trust...but he'd also never bothered with testing that bond. Perhaps it was time he did test it. "I'll ask him if he's up for it. I can't promise he'll want to be around when I shift." The last time he'd shifted, it had ended very badly. The last thing Henry wanted was a repeat of history. Knowing Sterling wanted the same, he wasn't sure if he would agree to test fate.
