West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I can't help this awful energy
Goddamn right, you should be scared of me

He could sense the adrenaline within the air, that agitation that so surrounded the lupine clung to her as she stalked after him, leaving the ring behind him. He knew well that after he satisfied the coyote tonight, he would too have to remind that crowd beneath them of exactly who he was. After all, he had quite near allowed some woman to barge into his domain, disrupt his business, and order him to be at her beck and call. Though Tetradore himself was hardly perturbed by such a thing when Malia was quite clearly upset, he knew well how such might so tarnish his reputation. Frankly, Tetradore was certain that tonight was going to be a rather long night, one he was ill-prepared for. A soft breath left his lips as he led the way up those stairs and towards that far more refined portion of the ship. That industrial feel had all but dissipated beneath warm wallpaper and plush carpets. The Ark was their home, after all, one that surely should feel more than cold hard steel. He led the young woman to his own quarters in the ship, pausing only once within that safety of his room to inquire after what so clearly bothered her tonight.

Tetradore was certainly not prepared for the cascade of accusatory inquiries that left her thoughts, that scowl darkening on his features with each passing one. It hardly took much consideration to know exactly where she had gotten such fool hearted ideas from in the first place. "I see you've been talking to my sister." He commented almost sourly, the man raising to all four paws only to prowl back and forth before the young woman in a rare display of discontent. His tail lashed behind him as his head shook ever so slightly. Nadya, it seemed, continually made that effort to drive a wedge between the man and all those that surrounded him. Frankly, he hardly knew why when he had finally left her to the peace of her own choices. "I did support her." He stated, quite abruptly, that question clearly bothering him the most of them all. "I gave her everything she asked for. I tried to keep them safe. All of them. I ensured she had a roof over her head when she went behind my back and slept with my best friend. I asked her to move into the Ark when she told me Frost was stalking her. Not that she loved him, not that he loved her....when he was stalking her." Tetradore near spat those words, irritated for all that had been hidden from him, all that she had left out and then blamed him for. "She said the Ark wasn't safe enough, we baby proofed the whole damn thing for her. You can still see the fucking screws I drilled into the goddamn walls for her! When she claimed my pack attacked her, I punished them. She wanted to move out and I let her. And somehow I didn't support her? Tell me how. Because I won't bend my knee to Frost and live as their subordinate like she wants?"

Those words had only increased in their ferocity, the man turned to face the lupine in that moment, those emerald eyes staring at her almost harshly before....slowly....that anger melted away. A soft sigh left his lips as the feline turned, moving towards the leather sofa against the wall. He climbed upon that plush material, careful to ensure his claws were tucked away before flopping unceremoniously upon that leather as if the very act of somehow...being still was capable of soothing the man. For a moment, he was silent, his gaze shifted away from her before his thoughts reached out to her again, this time far softer than before. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have....I shouldn't have taken that out on you. I'm afraid my sister and I have a complicated relationship. She has a tendency to think the worst of me. Maybe I deserve it....I don't know. What were your other questions?" He paused, his head tilted as if trying to remember them before the man continued, his thoughts far more measured and controlled now. "I'm afraid I don't know what you're referring to about...controlling who people can talk to. And as for Frost..." Another breath left his lips as if this was far too exhausting by now.

"I don't hate Frost," Tetradore admitted after a moment's contemplation. "I don't think I ever really hated him. I just wanted to keep them all safe...and I failed them....all of them. Frost nearly killed one of my pack members. My girlfriend, he tormented with his illusions. One of his old pack members attempted to escape from him by coming here and he nearly killed me once. He's a strong Alpha, Malia. Far stronger than I am. You chose well. As did Nadya." Such realization was one that had only recently occurred to him, ever since he finally made the effort to meet the stallion for himself. He could not compete with Frost, not with those affinities he held nor the lengths he was willing to go for all that he considered his. When faced with Frost, he would continue to fail his pack and, in that, perhaps Nadya's request for him to step down from his position of Alpha was almost....sensible. Still, this was hardly the last question that Malia had inquired over, the final one surely just as important as all the others for its own distinct reason. "You should remember, Malia, regardless of what anyone says, that I wanted you for myself before you joined him. Though perhaps I was too subtle and too patient with you." He offered her a weak sound of amusement, his head shaking ever so slightly before the were King added as an afterthought. "Frost and I have had the chance to meet recently for the first time. You might benefit from the knowledge that we've found a way to put aside our differences. He and Nadya are happy, I suppose. She's chosen to be with him and I have no intention of intruding in that or 'getting back' at him." Although Tetradore was willing to admit that meeting with the man, he took great care to leave out the details of that alliance, those very things something he hardly wanted as mere gossip. No, this, he was sure, would suffice.
