West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

we built this city on broken glass

He had hardly anticipated the woman might seize so readily onto the idea of finding out more about those Hunters that plagued their city. Malia seeming determined to even that playing field so to speak. If the Council kept records on the supernatural beings of the city then why could they, in turn, not to do the same? There was nothing, truly, to stop them from such a thing despite the distinct displeasure it would bring the council and yet Frost had never particularly minded causing displeasure in any real sense all the same. His own features remained impassive as he prompted the woman then, curious to see how her mind might work and what ideas she might already have thought to consider. She was an intelligent creature, resourceful, sharp and with a keen mind for planning. One, he suspected, that even she did not fully comprehend just yet, Frost seeing little need to make her aware of it just now and yet his intrigue in the girl was clear enough. She was a little rough around the edges perhaps and yet there ws value in Malia. A tremendous amount. The more comfortable she became in this world the bolder and more outgoing she would become in turn. Those qualities distinctly pleasing to the stallion and yet, once more, Frost kept such thoughts within the confines off his mind. His arms simply folding across his chest as Malia outlaid those ideas she had.

Her plan was good, he could hardly deny it. His own mind perhaps spying one or two small tweaks to be made and yet that was the very point of sharing a plan- to allow another to consider it from a different perspective. Frost remaining silent for several more moments as he turned those words she offered him over within his own thoughts. The man meeting her gaze then as she looked toward him in search off his own opinion, her eyes practically shining with delight. Hmm. At least she wasn't afraid to break the rules in any sense and yet he hardly found himself surprised. The Law of The Wild obeyed a very different set of rules then society deemed the norm. The rigid laws of this world far different to the flexible ideals of the one they had both once lived within. Frost finding her outlook decidedly refreshing.

"Let me think on this a little more, I like your plan though. It is sound.."

He was hardly a man inclined to praise in any sense. Those words, even now, distinctly simple and yet that he was pleased with her idea was surely clear. The man continuing to think on them as that conversation shifted to his own plans to return to that land and place off his birth if only to see his Mother freed from it. Frost unaware of the true depth of that emotion that managed to present itself behind that mask he wore so well in that moment. Malia, wisely, hardly pressing the stallion further on it. Frost merely affording her that assurance that he would surely need her in those coming months- if not i Iceland itself then here to run that pack in his absence. The woman quick to assure him she was no Alpha as his head simply shook. Frost commenting smoothly that she would learn, his lip quirking upward at the amount of 'teaching' Malia was sure she might need and whether or not he was up for it.

"I think I will manage to make the time. It depends on how quickly you learn."

There was a challenge in those words all the same, even despite that almost playful note. Frost willing to appeal to the woman's natural competitiveness of sorts before he asked after that role she had filled within her previous pack and just how she had gone about it. Malia once more displaying that resourcefulness and skills for leadership in her explanation of those things she had done as a coyote. Her ability to survive clear enough. The woman taking that compliment more readily. Frost presenting her with her own task of sorts then, the man inclined to see what or who she might bring to him, else tell him about, before the query on dinner saw him pause. A part of the man near expecting the woman to turn down that offer and return to whatever her plans had been for the evening. Her agreement to dine with him, provided it was not vegetarian prompting that soft chuckle.

"Very well. Come, we will see what we can find you."

The man shifted away from that railing then, his hands tucked into his pockets as he led the way across the landing, down the stairs and into that kitchen, his hand gesturing briefly to that largely table for Malia to make herself comfortable. A salad for himself was hardly difficult to make and yet something for Malia surely required a little more thought. Nadya had shopped recently which meant there was likely to be something within that fridge. Frost pulling out those pork chops set to the side. Those would do. The stallion entirely capable of cooking that meat even if he hardly ate it. Frost tossing those chops into the heated pan as he leant back against the bench to face Malia once more and wait for that food to begin to cook. His words abrupt then and yet not offered without thought.

"How would you like to test out your plan a little, you and I, next weekend? Most Hunter's in this city work alone. It shouldn't be hard for us to get one out by themselves. As it happens I have both an ability for prying others thoughts from their minds and for providing disguises in a sense. If you can catch one and hold him long enough to question them I should be able to do the rest. How does that sound?"
