West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

The warmth of that shower was quite near heavenly after those fights within the ring. Although Tetradore enjoyed watching his patrons spar against one another, it had been some time since he had stepped within that roped off area himself to reassert his own dominance over that boat filled with beasts. Sometimes, they needed to be reminded exactly who was King of that realm. A soft breath left his lips as that heat fell down upon his shoulders, the steam alone embracing him. God, this was exactly what he wanted. This was what his body needed. He was all too content to simply linger in that shower, even though the man knew well that Tobias awaited him outside. The boy would certainly be content for some time longer with those little farm animal figures he'd obtained. It was with marked hesitance that Tetradore shifted under that warm to wash the shampoo suds from those dark brunette locks. Frankly, he wished he could linger within that water much longer and yet, the Ark was not so well stocked with hot water to allow such wishes. He reached down, turning that knob to cut off the flow completely before reaching for that towel.

A small glimpse of confusion crossed his features at the muffled sound of Tobias' voice on the other side of that door though any consideration he had over it quickly passed as he dried off that caramel flesh. The boy was likely merely playing with his toys, after all, there were times where he was holding full on conversations with those plastic pieces - well, as 'full on' as the boy was capable of, that is. Most of those sounds and words only seemed to make sense to him alone and yet, it hardly perturbed the Alpha in the slightest. Rather, he pulled on those boxers only to cover them with looser fitting cloth pants. The man pulled a t-shirt over those refined muscles, his attention momentarily distracted by that cut upon his arm. His lips pressed together in a small frown as his hand rose to stroke the edges of that wound and yet, it hardly bothered him enough to warrant the man's attention any further. Quite on the contrary, Tetradore was more than content to simply leave it be with the knowledge that his own system's rapid healing would take over soon enough. By the end of the evening, at the very least, it would surely stop its own bleeding.

It was with a soft yawn on his lips that Tetradore finally stepped from the heat of that bathroom, the air of his own room decidedly cold compared to the veritable sauna he had created from that shower alone. A glimpse of surprise crossed his often indifferent features at the sight he was presented with upon opening that door, that dog toy positioned within Tobias' hands was...decidedly curious and yet, it was the presence of Matteo alone that truly had caught the were-King off guard. After all, how long had it been since he'd last seen the man? He had known the Frenchman would show up eventually but...he certainly hadn't expected it tonight. His emerald eyes shifted towards his Beta and that clear prize Tobias held within his hand. His eyebrow rose briefly. "Candy, huh?" He inquired and yet, the boy hardly seemed to devote a single ounce of any further attention towards him as he scooped up that rug and took it and the newfound 'toy' with him and out of the bedroom entirely. Well, that was a useful tactic. He was going to have to remember that next time he needed to keep the boy entertained for some time.

That childish nickname brought a rare grin to the man's features as he stepped closer towards his friend. "Hey, stranger." He responded casually, his hand fitting into Matteo's own only to be pulled into an embrace. For all his usual dislike of such physical affection, this was one he was willing to allow. As a boy within Risque's care, touch never brought with it any sort of comfort or kindness. It had taken him time to seek comfort in the arms of the man before him. Now, that near lifetime of trust was enough to prompt him to put up with those gestures all the same. That soft touch upon his arm drew his own gaze downwards and towards that angry red hue of flesh and yet, he appeared wholly unsurprising by that display of affinity that so turned back time upon that very bit of his body, chasing away that wound entirely. Rather, a soft snort left the man's nose before his shoulders rose in a small shrug. "What a day that would be." He responded and yet, there was a hint of a sort of...good nature to his baritone voice. That mispronunciation of his first name hardly perturbed him as much now as it had in his youth. Matteo, after all, had been the only soul in all of his captivity who had known his true name. He had been his 'secret keeper' all those years ago. How long ago that had been.

His eyebrow rose at that sudden statement that Matteo had brought him something, only to be handed a cardboard box. A glimpse of curiosity crossed the man's features as he peered into that box, eyeing the foreign candy within with delight. How long had it been since he'd tasted those sweets? The very memories of them upon his tongue were nothing short of glorious! He was hardly perturbed by the Frenchman's teleportation, after all, Matteo had been capable of such a skill for the entirety of the man's life. In truth, perhaps his own affinity was some effort to emulate that only parental figure he'd had after the murder of his parents. There was an almost childish desire somewhere deep within the man to show off all he had become, like a toddler looking for the praise of his parents and yet, such a sensation was quite near quickly squelched as he placed that box upon his desk, pulling that Batna from its depths. His obsession with it when he had been sixteen was near half a century ago and yet, Tetradore hardly commented on it. Instead, a soft snort left his nose at the mention of his 'friend'. "He'll find it and eat half of it no matter where I put it." He commented with ease, tearing that bag open in the process.

It was that inquiry of a drink that drew his gaze upwards towards his companion, a soft sound of remembrance leaving his lips. Tetradore crossed the room for that small cabinet in the corner, digging through its contents for that bottle he had been saving for this very moment, even though it had a small dent in the liquor contents thanks to that drinking game with Calliel. "I'd been saving this," Tetradore responded, plucking two glasses from above that counter. That anniversary bottle was placed beside Matteo, the words 'El Dorado' printed on the side. "I think you'll like it." He continued only to fall into that seat beside the man. Tetradore was already undoing the wrapper of one of those sweets before popping it into his mouth, wholly trusting in the Frenchman to see to the pouring of those drinks. "So...what new story do you have for me this time?" He inquired, continuing that near age-old tradition of prompting the Frenchman of those tales of his absence. In his youth, he was certain those stories were meant only as a distraction from that abysmal place he had endued so much. In his older years, it was a way of vicariously living through the Frenchman, and now? Well, now it was sheer curiosity.
