West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

You know how they say men and women are wired differently? Well, I gotta say I think it's the truth. Let's take this wonderful example to prove my point! Here I am trying to stay focused on the task. However, my green-eyed man beside me is more concerned about eating the damn chocolate icing rather than putting it on the chocolate cake! I mean come on. I really want to eat a slice of my birthday cake, but I am being as patient as I possibly can. Women will stay focused on task and finish it. Men will deviate from the task at hand. When men do this I don't know. It is quite amusing though. When I look his way I can see the agony. I shouldn't be so cruel and torment him, but at the same time who knew the way to make the Were-King get flustered, is withholding sweets! They say you should never reveal to others your weakness, not even those you trust the most, because they will one day use it against you. Finishing up the last part of the icing I can hear his plea to start to eat the cake. However, it simply cannot be done, not without a lit candle. It wasn't difficult to see the look of despair on his handsome looking face, and I know it is wrong, but I couldn't help but grin in response. As the silence between us grew I started to wonder...should I retract my statement? I mean he's an Alpha, this is his home and his food....so I had no ground to tell him what he cannot do or even have. I know I shouldn't be in a staring contest with the man, but I keep my eyes trained on him until he finally gets off the countertop.

Ha! I win! Me 1, Tetradore 0. As he goes about to search for the candles I return to the task in front of me, icing this cake to perfection! After the third drawer is yanked open, I turn around snickering softly, finding it all too amusing. That would be absolutely terrible. Oh, but it would be so fucking hilarious too! If I had to keep him from eating the cake, because I didn't get my candle...my god I think the Were-King would absolutely lose it. That is how I would die probably. Keeping the King of the West from chocolate cake...yea I guess I could live with going out like that. At least he would make it quick, he would....right? I mean it's still my birthday and all. A swift death would be a very kind birthday present. As the Were-Panther made his approach with a candle in hand, I watch as he gently placed the '2' candle into the cake, using his other hand to light it up. So, that was the only candle? I should make him look for one more...maybe the number 1, but that would be too cruel. I just made it to my 21st birthday and I don't want this to be my last birthday. Smiling I nod with approval accepting his attempt, after he exclaimed 'Happy Birthday.' Thinking for a moment on the sort of wish I want, I keep it firmly held in my head, and then blow out the candle swiftly. Handing him a fork, I yanked the candle out of the cake, because God only knows this man might go crazy and accidentally eat the thing along with the cake. As he began to dig into the cake, I follow suit on the opposite side, sighing with delight as I chew slowly on the first bite. Maybe it was my stomach being full of liquor, but I am absolutely starving. Without any effort I take another bite, and chew faster, swallowing and repeating this movement a couple of times.

It didn't take long but eventually I could feel my stomach was getting full and my eyes were getting heavy. This was absolutely fantastic! I ought to steal that Raven's girl cook book where this recipe was in. If this cake turned out that good, then surely there must be more delicious recipes any there! Tetradore and his pack were lucky. Setting the fork down on the countertop, I lean more into it, feeling my head start to get a bit hazy. For a moment I close my eyes, and then reopen it again. I think it's time, yes, I think it is time to call it a night. It was a very good night actually. This was the best birthday I've ever had in a very long time. It was a lot of fun. I got to fight. I got to drink. And I got to bake my own birthday cake! I can't help, but yawn. I know I need sleep, but I can't sleep not yet. For starters I don't live here. And I need to get water in my system and take an aspirin to help, just in case I get a hangover. Stumbling a bit I head over towards one of the upper cabinets, opening it and take out two glasses and heading towards the fridge to get us some water.

"Hey, Tetradore, I think we're going to need to call it a night, but before we do...where's the aspirin, we should take it just in case we get a hangover."
