West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Henry enjoyed studying people. He had always enjoyed sitting in the park an eating a hotdog while watching people come and go. He loved studying their mannerisms, what activities they enjoyed together, and things like that. So it was no surprise that as he sat here at the dinner table, he was studying all those that sat before him. He was still getting to know each and every one of them and it seemed like now he would have to get to know Alexis too.

Naturally, his eyes darted to Alexis and Raven as Raven seemed to finally put the pieces together that they were now pack-mates. He smiled, happy for her. While the girls were hugging, Henry looked to each male and then back to the women. "Welcome to the family." He might not know much about their history with Alexis, but it was clear that she was now part of their group â€" whether or not she used to be one of them or not. For Henry, she was a new shiny object that he got to explore.

As Henry plopped another piece of General Tso's chicken into his mouth, he savored the flavor before offering thanks to both Tobias and Tet for picking up their dinner. It was delicious and he didn't make it...so that warranted proper thanks from him. When Tobias answered his attempt at thanking the pair, it made his eyebrow raise slightly. The term was something he had heard before, but it seemed out of context. He hoped the man hadn't meant it in a derogatory way. He genuinely was thanking the man for dinner, so he hoped Tobias meant it more like "it was no problem at all" instead of "your thanks was bullshit but I'll answer anyway". The grin that followed told him it was meant as a "thank you" more than anything else. He'd take it.

However, when Tobias made the comment about girls being silly with the mannerisms displayed by Raven and Alexis, Henry couldn't help the jovial chuckle that left his lips. "That's so true." While he didn't dislike women, he was rather glad that he was in a relationship with a man. It seemed like they rarely had moments of wavering hormones or high-pitched squeals between them. They generally were rather laid back and right to the point.

Taking another bite of food, Henry was altogether ignoring the two women. It wasn't until Tobias' question about playing with Steve and Charles after dinner drew his gaze from his food to the other man. "Who are Steve and Charles?" He honestly hadn't met either one. Were they friends of Tobias? Did they work here? With Tobias, anything was possible...of that he was certain.
