West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

He felt his golden gaze flicker sideways at his fellow Hunter's retort that those photographs were personal, that she hadn't told the council because this lunatic was targeting Kohl and herself and yet Azrael was damn near sure her 'personal' business had turned into council business pretty damn quick because she hadn't told them in the first place. God women were fucking impossibly sometimes! Still, if he'd learned anything by dating Sera for well over a year it was that some arguments were not worth having. Azrael managing an irritable grunt by way of response as they reached Kohl's apartment and those introductions to Michael were made, their fellow hunter quick to go over when he'd noted about the apartment before agreeing to stay downstairs and make sure no one else followed them up. Azrael mounted those stairs easily, climbing further and further upward toward that penthouse apartment he knew to be the place Kohl and Kat shared. Hell it was a long way up! The blonde man never more glad to reach the top of a flight of stairs then he was in that singular moment.

His hand reached forward to press against the door Michael had left open, Azrael stepping onto those gleaming polished marble floors with a clear look of surprise, if not mild confusion. The place was pristine. He was damn near sure he could have eaten off the floor. Either someone had kidnapped Kohl and then proceeded to hide the evidence by hiring the world's most efficient damn cleaning company in existance or else the man was some sort of obsessive cleaner. Not a single thing in that whole room was out of place. Azrael largely expecting the rest of the house would be much the same. Those very words fell from his lips in simple awe as Kat merely chuckled. Azrael glancing back toward her as she mentioned Kohl's apparent OCD. Now that he would damn well believe. The idea the other man couldn't even stand cracks in the floor however readily saw the Hunter glance downward. Azrael noting for the first time that the marble floor was.....one giant block of marble made to avoid any cracks from joins or multiple marble pieces. Fucking hell! How on earth had they gotten that up here? Surely there had to be joins somewhere? Nothing could lift a block of marble this big and install it right? Azrael frowning once more at the idea of it before glancing almost incredulously toward Kat.

"What the hell does he do on the street? The footpath has cracks everywhere."

Truly Azrael found himself almost intrigued over the answer. What sort of a moron was afraid of sidewalk cracks? That thought, in the least, he kept to himself. The blonde man pressed further into that apartment then, Azrael searching for anything that seemed out of place or at least something that might give them a clue as to exactly where Kohl had gone. In the very least the man didn't appear to be in any sort of imminent danger even if no one had seen him in over a week. The sudden flare of those lights above near startled the often disgruntled man once more, Azrael watching as several more lights followed suit. The apartment evidently rigged on some sort of timer to give the impression Kohl was home. If Viktor had been watching the place then he'd been watching an empty building. It was almost smart, he supposed, almost. Azrael refusing to afford Kohl, of all people, any real praise. Kat seeming to seize onto that like a dog with a bone. Those sarcastic words prompting that scowl to his features.

"Don't you dare."

That was the last thing Kohl needed. A bigger ego. Azrael pressing passed the woman then and in the study, his gaze falling on that blank space on the desk only to ask what was usually there. Kat insisting it was a laptop and that really it should have been obvious before smirking towards him good naturedly. Azrael, this time, allowing his own demeanor to soften if only slightly.

"Frankly knowing Kohl I wouldn't' be surprised if it had been something else entirely."

Kohl was nothing if not....unusual. He sent Kat easily into the bedroom to look through those more....personal items then. Azrael continuing to search that study for any signs of anything that could give any indication of where Kohl was. Phone messages, tickets, brochures or anything that might offer some hint. That office, however, was entirely clean. Azrael sighing in defeat before wandering into the bedroom after Kat, the woman appearing almost....vulnerable in those few moments her fingers ran across that clothing. He had never seen Kat look, well, anything other then determined and mildly fierce before. To see the woman upset was....unusual. Azrael clearing his throat to let her know he was there as he stepped into the room. The emotion making him distinctly, well, uncomfortable. Was he supposed to comfort her or something? He never was very good at that. The man instead attempting to be, well, at least a little less....grumpy.

"We can contact the company and try and find out about travel agents. He must has a PA right? Someone, somewhere, will know where he is. Those names sound French, he might be in France and that, in the least, will make it a bit harder for this Viktor fellow to find him. I promise we'll find him first alright? You know i can't lie."

It was, well, sort of comforting right? That promise to find her boyfriend before victor did. Azrael falling silent once more as his hand reached upward to rub at the back off his neck, those other thoughts continuing to turn within his mind as he regarded the woman once more, that soft sigh pulled from him then.

"I think we've got all the information we can from here. In the least we have something to go on now. We're going to have to alert the rest of the Council now that we have reason to believe Viktor might have plans but I can...hold off doing that for a few days if you need more time, I suppose. Still, in the least, you should probably let Gia and Alex know. Gia is overseas at the moment but Alexander is back. He just got promoted to Commander of the Mounted Brigade, its up to you, but he might be able to help you too. You staying here or you want a lift somewhere else? Don't take this the wrong way but im going to need you to check in daily now that we know someone's after you."
