West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Tetradore had never seen a vehicle quite like this one - that domineering facade made from those sharply cut lines into the cold steel called to him. His emerald eyes ran over those silver-black rivets pressed into the metal only to drift upwards towards the barrel of the gun stationed at the top. He could only imagine the dangerous amount of damage the vehicle could do, at least, for Tetradore. Realistically, within an army faced with similar military power, perhaps that wonder was hardly the amazement it was to him. Even so, he could hardly deny the want he had for that vehicle, a desire that was clearly mirrored within his best friend. Although his own nod was subtle, he knew well Tobias had picked up on that gesture, the boy quite near launching into the consideration of some sort of plan. That chaotic violence he wished to beset upon the poor, unsuspecting patrons of the show, however, was not a plan Tetradore could get behind. Although his own morals were often askew, the were-King did not like the death and slaughter he'd been trained at such a young age to so callously perform. That eagerly offered distraction was one he was quick to turn down, much to his best friend's perturbed muttering.

The were-feline was hardly unaware of just the sort of fellow that his best friend was. The boy was often more akin to a child or a wild creature than any real man. His empathy was often lacking, much less any understanding of socially acceptable behavior. It was foolish, truly, that desire within Tetradore to turn Tobias into a better man than he. He suspected that if it were not for his presence, Tobias surely would have simply gone through with that haphazard murder and yet....Tetradore still tried, uttering with firmness that this mission quite near required stealth, his wording chosen so purposefully to mimic those very video games the two often played if only with the hope it might prompt some measure of understanding within the deviant feline. That muttering that stealth was less easy assured the were-King that Tobias had at least comprehended what was required of him. This, was something Tetradore was willing to agree to. "It is....but the best rewards are the hardest to get." The flashiest items, the most damaging weapons, they were the ones that required numerous missions and saving up of currency. This was akin to that, or, at least, he was sure he could make Tobias see it that way.

He knew well that nod he was given but moments later was a small display of submission from his closest companion, the leopard's mind readily hunting for a new plan that might be better received. Tetradore hardly had to wait long before a new strategy was presented to him, one in which neither were well seen for that blame of the theft to be placed upon them. He considered how feasible it was, for a moment. That teleportation required of them was going to be tight, with little margin of error in the small cab of the car. Still, with his recent work upon his power during his French trip, he was fairly confident that this was something he could pull off. Readily, the were-King agreed to that plan, only to suggest they wait to the end. This was, after all, only the first reveal of the night. The show promised far more that had enticed the man's presence within the first place. The mention of their favored vehicle manufacturers seemed to prompt a sort of glee within the young boy, spilling that grin upon his lips. Tetradore's head tilted at the mention of taking all of the vehicles - a theft of that level was sure to garner some attention. Though really, he supposed stealing the armored car was going to do that all the same. Might as well make this crime count.

"Maybe." Tetradore conceded, even though how he was going to manage to get several stolen cars back to the Ark still remained to be seen. He had teleported with the Bugatti before....perhaps doing so again was feasible. It was something to consider, should they find a vehicle worth it. His emerald gaze shifted from the armored car at this new addendum to that request that Tobias had, one eyebrow rose at the idea. Though he had taken to teaching Tobias how to drive on the empty tarmac, driving that little Ford Focus was entirely different from the sports cars they intended to steal tonight, much less the armored vehicle in front of him. The Bugatti and Lamborghini would have far more torque. They reached quicker, went faster, and required more control. He wasn't sure Tobias was yet ready for what those supercars had in store, even despite the boy's confidence. The armored car, on the other hand.....well.....the boy was unlikely to damage it....it was something to be considered. "We'll see." He uttered at last, offering his friend neither a yes or a no.

Any disagreement Tobias might have to that non-committal answer, however, was cut off by the announcer's voice. Tetradore followed his companion as the Tobias made his way back towards the crowd, their attention wholly focused upon the rest of the vehicles meant to be unveiled. That small environmental car before them was hardly what had drawn Tetradore to the event, the man quick to ignore it in favor of whatever was coming next. He hadn't anticipated Tobias' abruptly loud announcement that the car was less than favorable. The stares of the crowd surrounding them caused his hand to raise to his temples. The last thing Tetradore wanted was to be remembered for being...out of place, particularly considering all they were intending to steal tonight. He was thankful, really, when Tobias' attention left the stage and the boy ventured back to that banquet table. Those wayward glances were quick to turn back to the stage as the announcer moved onto the next vehicle, one which wholly captured Tetradore's attention. Those sharp lines and smooth curves called to him. This vehicle was one he desired almost over that armored car. A soft grunt was given towards his companion as Tobias pointed towards the car, Tetradore vastly more interested in the specs of that vehicle at that moment. He was astonished, truly, to discover the vehicle was a hybrid...and nothing short of magnificent.

It was the voice of a fellow beside him that drew his attention from the stage, and, in turn, his own gaping of the car. A quick glance of the aging fellow that held out his hand towards the were-King informed him the man was quite used to money, and likely entirely truthful in his declaration that the car belonged to him. His hand firmly fit into that outstretched one, "Tetradore. Pleasure to meet you." The were-King responded. He watched as Tobias' gaze shifted towards the fellow's outstretched hand, only to stare at it blankly for an awkwardly long amount of time. Tetradore watched that baffled look upon Christian's features at that obscure gesture and yet he'd given up any attempt to explain the boy's antics a long time ago. Rather, Tetradore easily occupied Christian's attention, nodding with ready interest at the man's further, detailed explanation of those specs. He hardly expected the sudden invitation to drink that fell from Tobias lips, his own emerald eyes glanced towards his companion with a glimpse of surprise and yet...if Tobias wanted Tetradore to preoccupy him with a drink, the boy clearly held some plan. "Please, I'd love to hear more about your vehicle." Tetaradore continued to Christian, picking up where Tobias left off with fluid ease.

Thankfully, Christian seemed more than eager for that invitation, hardly requiring much prompting at all before the man was leading way to the bar. That soft touch upon his arm drew his gaze towards Tobias, those murmured words cause a small frown on his lips only for the man to nod in agreement. Keeping him busy was something that he could do. He allowed Christian to take his seat, only for Tetradore to follow suit beside him. He was hardly perturbed by his faux siblings' actions, the murmur upon Christian's lips prompted a shrug on his shoulders. "Autism. He likes cars though so I bring him along." It was the easiest explanation to provide, quickly turning Christian's attention away from Tobias. "What will you have?" He inquired, gesturing towards the barkeep. It only took a few moments to place those orders, those drinks were quickly distributed in front of them, considering the rest of the show's patrons were otherwise engaged with the unveiling of the other vehicles. That inquiry of their business, however, caused the man to turn back towards Tobias. "Ah, we're in the shipping business." Tetradore responded, quickly making the effort to pull the man's attention back towards him. "A whole fleet of Cargo ships. It's not a very glamorous business but....the cash is good." A warm simper crossed his lips, even though it was hardly genuine in the slightest. Oh no, he was capable of playing pretend just as much as Tobias was, even if he did it far less often.
