West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Hearing his low growl only caused her faint growl to increase into an almost snarl. It was typical among pack mates to be annoyed or angry with one another. It was a part of life. Not everyone could be happy all the time. Not everyone could always get along with one another. It simply wasn't like that. It wasn't a bad thing. It's just how the world worked. There was no reason for the lupine to be this angry with Henry. She knew this, and yet she couldn't help, but feel the anger. It was ridiculous. Although the anger she felt was only intensifying. Within the back of her mind she could feel that other side of her lurking, crawling around in there. Why did her other side not like him that much? Shaking her head to rid herself of that primal presence she clutched her forehead for a minute, taking the time to breathe, while at the same time comprehending everything he was telling her. Needing to walk she got up furiously pacing back and forth hoping that this movement would help keep her calm enough to think these things through. Folding her arms she looked up at him, probing some more.

"When you found out that he was indeed alive, I assume you continued to resume the relationship, did you sleep with her again? And this time was there a primal need or did she ask again. If it was a primal need if there was no request...was that your panther taking control?"

Just because you can't sleep with him, doesn't mean you should sleep with another, she thought, as she shook her head in disappointment. Raven couldn't imagine cheating on anyone while she was in a relationship with Tobias. Perhaps, that was because she hardly trusted anyone and didn't like to be touched by those she didn't even trust. It wasn't fair for her to judge him like some sort of idiotic cheater, and yet, he was these things. Males. They were always stupid, men. But just because she disapproved strongly didn't mean she hated him or wanted him to suffer. It was clear he was in pain. All the turmoil emotions were affecting her own. Being empathetic and feeling those emotions was all too much, even for her. Spending time with Sterling might help, but sometimes there had to be more. After all the time she spent with her own mate, it took more to get her in the right step with him.

The mention that on Monday Sterling would be coming here to the Ark there was a worried look in her eye. Raven wasn't quite sure if bringing Sterling here to the Ark was a good idea. Things could go wrong. Not that she would want anything to go wrong. As for the idea of her presence being there she wasn't sure if she should be around in the first place. Henry had a way with irking her feral side. The only reason she could think of was that he was feral himself. It wouldn't be easy for Tetradore to have to keep an eye on two feral creatures. She could try, but if she felt herself go loose she would leave immediately. The last thing she wanted was to hurt a pack member's mate, well, that was if Sterling would remain Henry's mate. Feeling the anger and the tension between them start to die down her shoulders dropped as she released a tired, heavy sigh.

"Henry, I want to help, I've always wanted to. I've never shown you I've never wanted to, I've never shown you that I stopped caring, or decided to give up on you. Don't throw me away like that. If I didn't care would I have come to your room as late as it is, or yell at you to try to have some common sense?"

Hearing him say goodnight she understood that this was the end of the discussion. Quietly she headed for the exit of his door. Raven couldn't help, but yawn as her tired eyes blinked for a bit, to keep her focused. It was so very late and she was ready to turn in for the night. Holding onto his door for a moment she turned around, speaking softly again. Blue-grey eyes held a defeated and tired look in them, as she looked him straight in the eye.

"Whatever you decide to do, tell Sterling or not, that is up to you. However, you spending time with Malia isn't necessarily helping your panther realize you're with Sterling and not her. You may not want to hear this, but you might want to think and see if you still even love Sterling after all of this. Sometimes our animal half knows and understands more than we care to admit. Goodnight Henry."

She would shut his door quietly and walk towards her bedroom, quite happy to curl up and fall asleep against her mate. It had been a very long day and unexpectedly, a very long night.
