West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

We were chasing the thunder inside the storm;

A wild gleam formed within her golden eyes betraying her more feral side, as though a wolf peered out of those eyes instead of a woman. The specific skillsets she was quite good at weren't generally accepted by society as whole. Her previous alpha wanted them wild and vicious, he wanted an unbeatable army of cunning, frightening wolves that could descend and obliterate his enemies, in were-form and in their human form. That however was harder to achieve than he had thought, it was rare that these wolves could be much use in their human forms. They were rash, quick to anger, dangerous loaded guns that could go off at any moment. Most alphas teach control, this vile one, in particular, fed off of raging chaos. A weapon he somehow managed to wield against his enemies. How Mira escaped with her sanity was a major feat, not that she would ever see it that way. How easy it could have been to let go, it was holding on that was the hardest. It would have been so simple to give into those feral impulses and dangerous tendencies. No, not her. Not with an eye on something greater, keeping her family out of the alpha's sights.

There was an understanding look, she hard hardly afraid or judgmental of what this mission would call upon. A small smile formed upon her now alpha's lips as though he approved of the powerful storm in which should could become. What would he think when she was unleashed to her full potential, as her very roots in which she came from was visible. As volatile as an active volcano.

The mission seemed fairly straightforward and between the two of them, with his impenetrable skin and teleportation abilities and her.. skillsets. They should do just fine, in theory. What actually happened, well, that was whole other story entirely. He further went on to answer her question. Of course, their greedy little target was human.. Rich humans thought they could be safe with their money and influence, so they hire any supernatural they could thinking it suddenly made them safe, untouchable. People are their pretty little warped delusions. "I can't say I am that surprised that a human is behind this.." There were weres hungry enough for money that they would do just about anything, including working for shady low lives if it meant they got rewarded for it. It was hard finding work as a were. But a dark hunter? Now that was a little more surprising considering they would usually be caught dead before working alongside a were, a creature whom they were destined to slay.

Tetradore must have been breathing in too much sea water to consider letting her drive. How could she deny that opportunity? There wasn't much she would shy away from even though the thought of being stranded in the middle of the ocean on a sinking vessel was utterly terrifying. Not that she would dare let that show. Besides, her curiosity and ability to dive head first into a challenge obliterated any thoughts from forming within her mind. Besides how fascinating it was, the complicated equipment before her and the powerful engine beneath them. She couldn't help but feel delight laced with mischief being the one at the helm.

However, Tetradore was proving to be a distraction as he stood behind her, she hadn't expected that kind of reaction. In truth, she believed she was impervious. It caught her off guard as a warm hand engulfed hers on the accelerator. His arms almost encasing her like they had done before that night within their pillow fortress. It was the first time she had actually felt entirely safe since finding herself within Sacrosanct. What if she took that free hand and wrapped it around her waist, pulling her closer so his body formed with hers? What if she asked him to get lost with her? How entirely ridiculous an idea. She chided herself as she bit the inside of her mouth, biting to keep her head in the game. Distractions, that's what they were, pretty little distractions that her mind kept lingering on probably more than she should.

She claimed a canoe had to count for something. Let's be real though, there wasn't a chance in hell that was the case. Yet Tetradore was willing to let her have that little victory when they both knew she was dead wrong. Smart man. Her gaze met his as she uttered those sarcastic, fighting words some may call them. Again, he seemed to entertain her. "I promise if you do, I won't tell anyone. But I am afraid I can't let you live it down." She mused at the idea, teasing the man behind her at taking deep breaths if we got a little scared at her driving.

She laughed which coaxed yet another smile out of him, a smile she was sure she could lure out of him. "Of course." She declared confidently, a smirk lingering upon her lips. Everything could sound dirty with a little imagination, just certain things obviously sounded more obvious than others.

Tetradore asked if it was better than a canoe. "Incomparable." She admitted contently. "I might not be able to let you drive us back." Mira dangled that subtle challenge. She couldn't let him have all the fun, could she? Hell, she might not even want to drive back, perfectly content to cruise around until the sun came up or the gas ran out either way.

There was a peace that fell over the duo as they raced over the waves, as though this boat took flight. It skittered across each wave like it was nothing, even as the nose of the boat dipped and rose with each wave. This thing could handle anything, she was sure of it. Part of her wanted to mess around, making it go in tight circles only to make waves of her own. There was one large wave that made the boat go airborne for a split second. Her eyes widened, her heart forgot to beat for a split second. She gasped, but it seamlessly landed with a shudder. A huge grin bloomed on her features, unbidden as a laugh escaped her. As the fading sun urged them on, she couldn't help but steal a glance behind her at Tetradore. The sky took on glorious fiery hues as though the sky were ablaze in vibrant colours that could make any painter inspired.

It was gorgeous, she hadn't remembered the last time she had seen a summer sunset like this. She couldn't remember the last time the wind whipped her air and she felt like she could fly. "You're going to show me what this thing can really do.." She spoke over the whistling wind they created with such speeds. She really was missing out on this secret world of boats that she never knew. She tightened her grip to make sure it wasn't going to take a life of its own all of a sudden, before looking over her shoulder catching a glimpse of an almost serene view of Tetradore. The blaze of the sunset framed Tetradore like a glorious phoenix, it illuminated half her face as she shifted, still attempting to keep an eye where they were going. He was made for this boat.. he sure as hell looked good on it.

How easy it would be to forget the true purpose of tonight, to get the money and be on their merry way. After a few more minutes Tetradore's voice rang out over the relentless fevered thrum of the motor. There wasn't a doubt in her mind that it could handle much more than she was executing. She was almost disappointed her driving time was almost over. But then again, they had a mission to accomplish. It was all over far to quickly if you asked her, she enjoyed the speed, the way the wind whipped at her face. It was liberating in a way.

The task at hand was more important than that liberation that the speed provided, as though it could outrun any worry that dared plagued her mind. They needed to play it somewhat safe and coming at them full tilt wasn't probably safest options. She pulled the lever toward her reluctantly, slowing the boat right down. It seemed to sink back into the water as it did, but they still moved at a fair pace. "Fine.. But I haven't had my fill yet." She nearly pouted, but there was time and place for everything, unfortunately. In the distance there was a faint bobbing of a larger boat than this one out in the distance, she could barely make out the brazen bold font along its backside 'My Way". Yeah ok, those smug bastards won't be having it their way by the end of the night. Of course, she was well aware it was also an old as dirt song, but she was pretty dead set on despising them for their smugness regardless of the meaning of their boat name. "Smug bastards." She muttered in regards to that boat's name before she realized she hadn't looked at the name embellishing this boat. She would have to be sure to look. "I'm going to be honest, I don't have the faintest idea of parking this thing.. So unless you want me to send a lesson by barreling into them.. maybe it might be best for you to drive." A modicum of a smile danced upon her lips at the thought. Considering the explosives on board, yeah, on second thought Tetradore at the helm was probably the most favorable idea. Even in any other circumstances, she would be rather unwilling to easily hand over the wheel.

Despite how fun their playful banter was it was now time to let the true games to begin.

I'd rather be dangerous;
