West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

None Of It Has Ever Satisfied My Soul

Immortality: The idea definitely didn't suck in Gideon's mind. Not in the slightest. Gideon could still remember that fateful day like it was yesterday.
Travelling for days by horseback through the territory of the Ottoman Empire. Greece wasn't always known as Greece back then, for the record.
But travelling all that way to the border, and getting caught. Then the next day, being put up for a sacrificial ritual.
That was the one part he didn't want to remember; He didn't want to remember how it felt, how the flames lashed at his skin, and those haunting words being said that rung through his ears, and echoed in his mind. It was a whole different form of torture in Gideon's mind, but it was well worth it. For here he was now, alive and well, and finding some way to still carry on, not only his legacy but his families as well... Even if there were no royalty to be slain.
At least that it was he thought, until Sera said something.
"Not completely dead in the water," she said to him... Then she went on to mention the Queen of England, and Fae King.... His kind had a king? He paused himself completely for moment.
"You mean... the Fae are ruled by a Monarchy?... How intriguing.."
Gideon thought to himself as he would snap out of it, and turn his attention back to what he was doing: Trying to keep the cargo Sera wanted safe from being broken

As he would carefully keep the box safe from harm, Gideon hadn't completely written off Sera's question about the Emperor she asked. The two exited the warehouse and would make their way to her shop. Whatever was in this crate, Gideon wasn't feeling the weight of it. Maybe it was the adrenaline that was leftover. Who knows.
As they continued walking, the sky was now painted a brilliant orange thanks to the sun. The sky was as clear as ever, but tiny cloud wisps added some charm to the already beautiful sky.
Gideon would turn to Sera and take a deep breath, and exhale quietly.
"I actually did get a second chance...."
Gideon replied finally, kicking at a rock that was under his boot trying to lodge itself into the grooves underneath. How annoying.
"When I woke up, it was only a year later. Nothing had really changed, and when I emerged from my execution site in the forest, I asked a travelling merchant where the Emperor was... He told me he was in Naples."
Gideon explained in a soft voice, as his face was like stone with a blank, but serious expression.
His eyes were riddled with all sorts of emotion, as his mind would start replaying the event like it was a movie.
"Once I was able to get on a ship going to Naples, I was ready... I sat in my cabin assigned to me on the cargo ship by the Captain for days. I found I didn't really need to eat food the entire time, and it threw me off for awhile. But once I heard we had reached a port in Naples, I found out he was still in Naples..."
A smirk drew itself across Gideon's face, as he would continue explaining the story, and visualizing it in his mind, as it was still fresh in his mind.

It was a bit of shock though that he even still remembered how this all went down.
"Once I knew his exact location, I made my way there, and waited in an alleyway until nightfall... I was about to start climbing up my way to the roof so I could easily travel to the estate he was residing in with an aristocrat of Naples... Then I noticed that I when a patrolling guard was staring directly at me from the entryway of the alley, he didn't see me... I was cloaked; Invisible like the fables I had heard about warlocks and wizards being able to cloak themselves to hide entirely..."
Gideon continued to tell the story to Sera, as he would adjust the chains he had slung over him so that sat more comfortable. The Fae did wonder what was going through her mind as he was telling her all this, but he'd wait for her reaction afterwards.
"So, seeing as I was invisible, I didn't know how long it was going to last, so I made my move... Instead of climbing the roof, I rushed to the estate. I climbed up the side to the balcony on the left side, and carefully stood outside the French Doors. And there he was... I wasted no time though. I silently opened the doors, and I walked in like it was my own home... But before I made my move, I made sure I wrote out a note."
Gideon chuckled aloud at his actions that day; He did wonder if that very note was still out there in the world today, and if he'd ever see it again.

But he didn't want to stop the story, Sera seemed highly interested after all, and it wasn't polite to keep a girl waiting.
"'No one ever escapes me, or bests me.' I wrote that on the parchment and signed my name as fancily as I could. I drew my dagger from it's holstered sheathe, and I plunged it into the Emperor's open mouth.
All that was heard was his screams being drowned by the blood that was flooding into his orifice."
The Fae didn't flinch or show any sign of disgust having explained how he killed that disgusting man that day. And he didn't look over at Sera to see her face, because they were both crossing at a crosswalk, and he didn't want to remove his eyes from the path they were walking.
"Precious cargo." He kept reminding himself, as the pair made it safely across and stopped for but a moment.
"And that is how I finished the job. I even left the note on his lifeless body for someone to see... Wonder what all was going through their minds when they saw it."
