West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Okay it was settled, she was going to call this stunning creature before her beautiful every chance she got. Maybe if she did that then she wouldn't appear so shocked when someone used it with her as the intended recipient. She merely smiled as she watched the blush take hold, giggling as she stammered a response.

"You are so adorable."

She murmurs, quite delighted to have gotten such a reaction out of her. It was clear that she has been stigmatized for them and this is not right. Just because her flesh is not smooth and unmarred did not mean that she was ugly. She hated that society placed so much on physical beauty but then she might be part of the problem. She did enjoy looking nice and dabbled in eye shadow here and there to enhance her own looks. Yet it mattered little for she had already made up her mind.

"Your hair is gorgeous as well. What do you do to it to give it that sheen?"

She asks, just to make conversation with her as they walked, content to ignore the drunks for the time being. That is until they just decided to insert themselves into their little moment. Bowling it would have to be. Besides she thought that would be the perfect measure to distract Raven. She had seen the defensive way she had reacted, watched the way her shoulders had came up and her eyes narrowed. Was it males, or had something happened in her past to create this. One thing was for certain, this was not normal nor was it appreciated that these fools create this reaction in her companion.

After grasping the first lid and watching it roll into the ring lead she is filled with a wicked sort of joy. Yet when she turns to Raven she is met with a cringe and a warning.

"Yes this I know but it is better than what they probably planned for us. I don't know about you but I do not plan to be raped and murder tonight."

She shrugs as if this was par the course for the area they were in. She turns back to the group, noticing that the others are with the ring leader and as such Raven either needed to play or they needed to be going. Gesturing to the lid receives a violent head shake in response. Giggling she takes the lid and gives it a good shove to get it rolling.
"There, that will give us some time."

And with that they are off, their feet pounding the pavement and with a exuberant whoop she tosses her sandwhich. Turning her head she eyes Raven, chewing on the words before giving her an answer.

"They probably had plans to do that to us anyway. I just gave them a more solid reason not to like us."

Looking ahead she spots a street sign, and she remembers a late night bookstore. She knows what it is because she happened to have a secret love of books and knows the owner of this store personally. The shop does not own an open sign and by all accounts looks closed. Grabbing Raven's hand once again she pulls her across the street, around a corner and into the building. A soft chime is given upon the bell on the door but it does not linger as she releases Raven, a grin plastered upon her face.

"Chemistry is that you?" A gruff voice is given from the back, an elderly black man coming forth, leaning heavily upon his cane.

"Yes Mr. McGreg. I have a friend and we wish to look at some books. Sorry about the hour."

She gives him her best smile and he just shakes his head, mumbling about kids these days. She waits until he goes up the stairs to his apartment upstairs before turning to Raven.

"I think we should stay here for a few, we will leave within the hour."

She looks around the musty old bookstore. It held any and everything you could possibly imagine and was her favorite hideout.

"Do you like to read?"
