West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He was far too lax when she teased him about breaking into his room at night. He only shrugged and said his door was never locked. She raised a brow, actually surprised at that. He seemed so private, so solitary. Deciding to let it go, she focused on the task at hand. It didn't take them long to get in the house and make their way to the painting. Then it was just a matter of angling it correctly so they could get it off the wall without painting Tetradore again, though she thought that just sounded like fun. Of course, their plan to escape smoothly was thwarted by the house owner himself, waking up to go look for his dog. She was sure Tetradore was looking to fall back on teleportation to get them out of this but she wasn't one for the easy way out. What was the fun in that? So instead she pushed him into a room and used one of her newer powers to transform into the dog's double and make her way out to the human, who didn't notice the difference.

She waited till Tetradore had safely gotten past the bedroom door and the man sounded like he was fast asleep before she crept back out and into the kitchen. She wasn't expecting to catch back up to Tetradore so fast though. She had almost expected him to have cheated and teleported out of the house and back to the Ark or something. She giggled as she teased him before stepping to the door. He only sighed and she raised a brow. No snarky comeback? He must be getting tired or something. Deciding now it was just a matter of getting back outside and to the Ark, she decided sneaky could be put off to the side for now. She opened the door, letting the dog race inside before pushing Tetradore out the door and giggling as she closed it behind them. Maybe the owner was used to his dog barking at anything and everything throughout the night. They would be out of here in moments, right? Nothing to worry about.

She snorted at his comment before shrugging as she practically skipped to the fence. "So? Almost home free. You're welcome." She turned back with a twinkle in her eyes as she winked at him before continuing to the fence. She heard the click of the man's weapon just as Tetradore did, his exclamation making her turn back as she was about to start climbing the fence. Her lips curled back. She really did hate weapons. Suddenly Tetradore pushed the painting into her arms and grabbed her by the waist. She squealed in surprise more than anything, clutching the painting since she knew it was precious to him even as he tried to put her over the fence. She heard the growl of the dog and a growl ripped from her own throat, knowing he was already attacking Tetradore, or at least his clothing. She gripped the painting in one hand and grabbed for Tetradore's sleeve in her other hand. Concentrating even as her leg hooked the fence, she knew she wasn't about to leave without him.

She felt the familiar building and glared toward where the man was walking toward them with the gun already up and aimed at her and Tetradore. Clenching her jaw, she pushed the power outward like Frost told her. The shotgun suddenly exploded in the man's hands, causing him to yelp and throw it as the dog released Tetradore in shock of the explosion. Smirking in victory, Malia then concentrated on Tetradore's sleeve and felt the familiar rushing as they teleported. They reappeared in the west side down an alley between two old warehouses. She sighed in relief and leaned back against the wall, still clutching the painting to her chest as she looked at Tetradore. "So....having fun yet?"
