West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

I'm about to make my own way, heaven help me keep my faith

The silver blue eyed witch was entirely unaware of just how forbidden this relationship was. The young woman never even having heard of some sort of Dark Hunter Council. Heck, she hadn't even heard of a dark hunter until tonight. Icy blue eyes turn away to give the couple some privacy while they er...greeted each other. But Kathryn does not stay turned away for long, lest she give the blonde hunter an opportunity to suddenly strike her while she wasn't paying attention. Kathryn notes the way the other witch's lips purse as the hunter disappears and reappears. The wind tugs affectionately at her dark chocolate colored tresses as if to remind Kat that it was here if she needed it.

The dark haired witch should have expected the reaction she received. "You see anyone else around?" Kathryn says those silver blue eyes resting on Serafina. The brunette watches as the frown forms upon her face, though Kathryn already has a response to her statement. "Who cares if you don't know air," Kathryn says back to her. "You know magic, and I think that may be the department I am a little unaccustomed to," she says, the wind finally settling, those long dark chocolate tresses finally still along her back. "Up until a few weeks ago I thought I was just a normal human," she admits with a shrug. What was done was done, but she might as well make the most of it. The brunette was a witch whether she liked it or not. Silver blue eyes glance to the blonde man for a moment. "Besides, maybe if my magic is under control he wont want to kill me," the brunette says with a slight impish grin on her lips. She resits laughing as she tucks a strand of sable hair behind her ear. The slender, dark haired woman certainly does not miss the look that passes over the dark hunter's face (so strange that that word is apart of her vocabulary now.) "What? I think she could do it," Kathryn says, narrowing those sky blue eyes.

Those same silver blue eyes flash with irritation slightly at his next comment. "It wasn't my intention to be practicing, it just happened," she says with a shrug of her shoulders. He could make of that what he would. The trio began walking to the car, how this blonde man could go from about to kill the blue eyed witch to suddenly giving her a ride home is beyond Kathryn, but she is grateful all the same, not exactly feeling taking a walk home and risking running into another hunter that perhaps didn't have a witch for a girlfriend and would not hesitate to kill her. As they make their way to the car, the hunter decides to answer Kathryn's question, those blue eyes flickering in his direction. "Well, thanks," she says, those same silver blue eyes roving away from him as she states the comment almost off handedly. She was grateful, yes, but Kathryn certainly did not believe she had deserved to die.

When they reach the car, Kathryn hesitates for just the briefest of moments, icy blues eyeing the warily. All her life she has been told not to get in the car with strangers and now here she was getting in a car with two of them, one of which tried to kill her not so long ago. But then with a blink of those icy blue depths, disappearing for the briefest of moments beneath long lashes, Kathryn moves into the back of the car, hand reaching for the handle before climbing inside and pulling the door shut. He says they need to make a stop first and Kathryn offers a small nod before those glacial blues find eyes of gold within the rearview mirror. "Uhh," should she give him her real name? "Kathrynâ€"Murphy. Kathryn Murphy," she says, deciding perhaps honesty would be the best policy in this case as lyrics usher passed her lips to the man and his companion. Icy glacier eyes look to each of them in turn. "And what are your names?" She asks, at least she had been raised to be polite, even if Kathryn was never a fan of small talk. The sable haired witch then turns her attention to the road wondering where he would be taking her. Crystalline eyes watch with little interest as the world passes by her. Those blue eyes flickering downwards as the hunter digs papers out of the center console and brings the car to a halt. She wants to ask what he is doing, but thinks better on it. She closes those blue eyes for a moment before looking at Serafina as he exits the car. "Is he always this tense?" She asks the other witch, those silver blue eyes flickering upwards as she watches the hunter return to the car.

The blonde hunter enters the car and the silver blue eyed witch settles herself in the seat, remaining quiet as the car rumbled down the road. She could tell the situation was certainly a little rocky, and Kathryn wasn't keen on the idea of firing the hunter up anymore. But then he speaks and then he speaks directly towards Kathyrn. "Who is the council?" The blue-eyed witch dares to ask. She had heard the term coven before, from childhood stories that she learned are not merely just stories anymore, but never council. This was an entirely new term to the girl.
